How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We couldn't park at the hotel because it was full.
Room was nice and modern, location was good. Everything was within 5-10 min walk.

Everything was good.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Fantastic location; easy to drive to and right in the centre so perfect for walking around. Had their own secure car park. Nice room with lovely views. Great breakfast on the top floor with even better views.

The fact that the service elevator was not working, so we needed to wait too long to get the elevator. And the worse thing was that the guests didn’t had priority, for example, we waited for more than 15 minutes because the elevator was busy with staff carrying towels and other stuffs. The elevator was the main problem because all other things was very fine.

This time our rooms were on the 6th floor and above on the 7th was the restaurant and a lot of noise could be heard at clearing up time which was just as I was trying to go to sleep. Also room very hot.

Holiday Inn Reims Centre is about a 10 min walk from Gare de Reims and close to the shops as well as restaurants. It's within walking distance (about 10-12mins) to the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Reims and about 30mins as per google to the Basilique Saint-Remi. It took us 20 mins by foot. There's also a Monoprix within a stone's throw from the hotel. Basically, it's in a quiet corner of the city but close enough to get to the touristy sites, the champagne houses and other noteworthy locales as well as eating spots if you came by public transportation.

A Nespresso machine would have made it perfect but there are many cafes outside so not really an issue.
The hotel is located in the quiet part of town and its very near shops, sights and restaurants. The rooms were well kept and always clean. The toilet and shower was really nice and big. What really stands out here is the service level of the staff. Always friendly and willing to lend a hand. French hospitality at its finest.

Door to roof terrace has no handle on the outside and locks you out. Car park somewhat awkward. Not too well sound proofed

Staff very friendly. Unfortunately they couldn't fit us in the restaurant, but it was a short distance into the centre where we found a nice Italian restaurant. Good underground parking

Well positioned - comfortable walking distance from train station, and to city centre and major local attractions. Staff friendly. Nice restaurant on top floor with city views, and good food.

Not clean, elevators slow, very noisy at night
The fridge broke so most of our food was ruined. Moved us to a smaller room on my mums birthday with no apology or recognition for the inconvenience. Wait on the elevator was always long, staff at the font were friendly. Shower leaked all over the floor and glitter from the last guests was on the bathroom and bedroom floors. Great location to everything!

Nothing in particular. Parking via lift is a bit difficult but manageable.
