Having to leave early, missing breakfast, and only staying one night!

Where to start? Recently refurbished, with no expense spared, this ancient Château with an interesting history, run by the accommodating, energetic and charismatic manager, Matthew, is absolutely worth a visit. The bedrooms have been sympathetically restored, designed, papered and themed. A pair of zip-linked beds provide an extremely comfortable night, either in a twin or super-King sized bed with good quality linen. The bathroom was equally well designed and furnished. Elegant dining room plus sheltered dining terrace, an adaptable and delicious menu with good wine selection.

Loved it all.

We were warmly welcomed into the beautiful chateau. Room and facilities were great, especially the sink and shower! The evening meal was delicious and the staff were very attentive. Great atmosphere and we very much enjoyed our last evening north of Chateaudun. Brilliantly located on the route Nationale N10. We would thoroughly recommend a stop at this charming chateau.

A lovely property with beautifully presented rooms and communal areas, and a welcoming host. The restaurant offers a limited menu but all the dishes we had (there were six in our group) were excellent and sensibly priced. Breakfast was a self-service buffet which offered a good variety of tasty locally sourced food. Parking is on-site and free.

A beautiful property! Very cosy and very French! I enjoyed every moment of my stay, from arriving late night under the stars to amazing breakfast with variety of local cheese and fresh bakery. The hosts are very welcoming and made my stay even better.

Inaccessible without one's own transportation means.

Very accommodating staff, we had arrived for a wedding at unusual hours but we were welcomed without any problem, and were given a comfortable, functional room furnished with a unique style and a beautiful view.

Only thing was dog poo on grass and my knee scooter sadly got covered on one of the wheels :(

Mathieu was a superb host. We loved the dog friendly and large ground floor accessibility Deluxe room (I had broken my ankle). Superb little bar and restaurant with fresh choices for breakfast and lovely well valued dinner. Mathieu and his friendly dog made you feel very special and he has a cheeky manner (which I love!) and speaks great English as an added bonus ! We met some lovely residents and it felt like we were staying in a private chateau! Wine choices excellent and just off d road heading back to Calais so great location. We now see why people revisit. We will certainly be back! Thanks !

My only gripe is a charge of €25 for my small dog other than that good value

We were upgraded to a garden room to accommodate our small Daschund. Everything about this accommodation was excellent (comfortable bed,large shower facilities,plenty of wardrobe space, great walks for our dog)We had drinks on the terrace followed by a fantastic meal,Boeuf Bourguignon….deserts Crème Brûlée and a small cheese board accompanied with a nice bottle of wine
