What could have been better? My French for sure

This is our 4th trip over the past 20 years, we extended our stay from 3 to 4 days. We brought our son and his wife they loved it and plan to return. This is the perfect Hotel for the experience of Burgundy shopping in the old town of Beaune for Americans. The staff bent over backwards to be accommodating especially Rabab Allaf at the front desk.

Our room had the toilet room on one side of the room, and the lav and shower on the other side; it was a little odd for us.

The staff was very helpful with directions; and meeting our needs in Beaune. Rabab was very helpful finding us a good place to eat dinner on a very busy night. Parking was easy.

In 35 degrees, a pool would have been welcome.

We stayed here many years ago and it was a great pleasure to revisit. Service was excellent, as was the restaurant, and staff were very helpful and attentive. Great location.

Breakfast is quite expensive if you are not used to eat a lot The room is really very small, with a problem to find space for opening two luggage 14 euros for parking, given the fact that in the area there are many other public parking slots

The location is just at the border of the city center, very useful to avoid using the car. Many restaurants are in the area and it is easy to use the hotel as the starting point to visit the vineyards of Borgogne

The hotel was a bit run down our room had certainly seen better days, we expected more for the price. The breakfast was really disappointing. We should have booked without and walked into town.

There is no doubt the location is excellent; not quite in the centre but just 5 minutes walk. The reception staff were very friendly.

Perhaps the lift from the reception area to our room somehow could have been a bit bigger but can appreciate this could be difficult to change.

Everything went well. The gentleman at check-in was more than helpful. The location was perfect and we were lucky that we were able to park overnight right in front of the hotel with no charge!!! The breakfast was delicious and the room it was served in was gorgeous. A hotel with character!!

The room decor is a little tired and the aircon was a little noisy. But in all its a a great hotel.

Sadly, the restaurant was full with a tour group. So don’t know what the food tastes like. Plenty of places to eat a short walk away in the town.

So convenient on the road to the south of France. Very comfortable overnight. Excellent breakfast and covered garage spaces. Very helpful staff. A short walk to the famous hospice. Wine.

location perfect! just outside the Baune village wall. Car parking in a private garage on the property. we had a nice quiet room facing the garden. Helpful staff!

Service & bed which was too hard & duvet was not comfortable.

Great breakfast & an excellent location. On arrival I thought the staff were not particularly welcoming & my communications had not been noted, particularly relating to the car park! Check out staff were lovely.

no mini bar .., no shoe horn.. , no cleaning of the room by 14.00 hrs., (by which time we needed the room again) - this in a Junior suite!Also: no English-speaking channels on the TV and no sugar in the tray by the coffee machine.
