We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

New ZealandThe cleaners broke my plug adapter (hit it with so much force the pins went sideways and I couldn’t plug it in) and when I mentioned it to the front desk staff they first said they’d have to ask the cleaners in the morning and then when I asked a second desk staff in the morning he said the manger wasn’t around. Neither staff member seemed concerned about trying to fix the problem (that being I no longer had an adapter I could use for my next stop in Europe - the staff did give me one of theirs to use overnight at least). I asked if they could reimburse me the cost of buying a new one and didn’t really get much of a reply. We had to leave to get to the airport so I said I’d get in contact. They are VERY lucky the next hotel I stayed at in Rome had a staff member who was able to force the pins straight again and fixed my adapter, meaning I didn’t need to buy a new one. But I’m not very impressed by the way the staff handled their cleaners breaking my belongings. I won’t be staying here again due to this reason.
The location was really nice - a quick 10 min walk from The Moulin Rouge. It suited our needs as a place to stay while in Paris! It was a little small and cramped but if you’re just sleeping there it doesn’t really matter.

UkraineYou had to ask for a fork from the kitchen, as there are only knives and spoons in the breakfast area. Room keys stopped working, but got fixed quickly.
Breakfast was good for its price. Staff was very friendly and responsive to all my questions and requests. I really liked the location, – lovely neighbourhood, lots of good restaurants, convenient connection with the centre via metro. Moulin Rouge is quite close, as well as Montmartre sights. There are also several grocery shops nearby. It's a small hotel and the scale of everything is also small – like elevator and breakfast area. But it's not a big deal. Towels and toiletries got replaced every 2-3 days. The view onto the cosy street was nice. Overall, I can recommend this place for this price and considering coming back.

Great location, clean and nice room. Nice view out of the window. Handy that we were able to leave our luggage there for the day after check out.

Kind personal, allow us to left baggage after check out for couple of hours. Elevator in a hotel and conditioning in the room are present, that seems to be a rare thing in Paris hotels. 5 mins to metro station.

A small hotel near the Rome metro station for an adequate price. There were shower gel/shampoo and the soap. The neighbourhood is nice, with several restaurants and take out places. It was mostly clean. The bed was ok.

Spain25 mins walk to Sacre Cor with plenty of nice restaurants and shops along the way. You can easily visit all the main attractions around the mountmantre area from this hotel. Street parking is also available, around 50€ all day. 7 mins drive to the Eiffel Tower, Arch.. with access also by metro/bus.
