It was a lot of money for a small room with no breakfast included. Just seemed a tired hotel which I would have expected to be cheaper. Parking was in a car park a few minutes walk away. I prefer a hotel with its own parking.

Both the receptionists that we met were lovely! It was good to be north of the river as my octogenarian parents were with us and so we always try to minimise the walking distance to the sights.

We paid for a mid-tier room for a family with toddler, and even for a two star property felt this was poor value. The room is very old and tired, unlike the pictures on the website; there was no A/C or fan, which lead to a stifling atmosphere even with the window open; the curtains were little better than net blinds, letting in a lot of light. Being near the centre of the old city was the only redeeming factor. A disappointment.

Staff were friendly, the property was clean, location very good, secure parking at €3 overnight was welcome, breakfast reasonable for €7 a head.

Hotel is in a convenient location- within walking distance to sights and to the river Loire. Room was clean and comfortable, even though we were on the floor with the reception and breakfast parlor. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good- bread, jam, yogurt, tee/coffee. Public parking near by.

The shower in the bath....really dangerous for us both....not to bad before you put shower gel on, but after so slippery.

The room was fine...on the 4th floor...big enough. The shower was in the bath, but very very slippery as no anti slip mat available. Bed was comfy and clean. Enough storage space. The breakfast was very good..great selection of bakery, hot drinks, juice.

Information beforehand of the car parking as we had to find a place to pull in, go into the hotel and ask. We had asked for this information on the original booking where it mentioned 'request further information/ask a question.

Great view (from the fourth floor) over the roof tops of this old quarter towards two bell towers. The hotel is very well situated being within short walking distance of the Quai (Loire Embankment), the Cathedral, Les Halles and all of the old city centre sites.

The large and heavy keychain for the room key was the closest thing to an inconvenience during my stay.

The 10pm - 7am closed-gate policy, which was not explained to me clearly enough upon arrival. I had two problems because of that: returning to the hotel after 10pm without knowing the entry code, and having no idea where to put the keys when leaving before 7am.

    1. Noises coming from dining room next door 2. No safe to deposit valuables 3. Some distance to major tourist sites such as Jeanne D'Arc Sq and the cathedral

Situated at the edge of Old Orleans, the hotel is within 5 min walk from the old town and ca. 10 min from the Jeanne D'Arc Sq and cathedral. My room is big, there is plenty of space to park my luggage but having said that, the room is next to the dining area separated by a thin wall. I could clearly hear noises from footsteps/cutlery/chairs being dragged on the floor every morning. The decoration of the room is basic and there is no safe to deposit valuables. The staff are very helpful and friendly though.

The parking is a bit difficult, especially if you need to unload baggage. you have to find a spot on the street to pull over and unload before going into the city lot just down the street. The rooms are rather dated/old and could use updating... one of the 4 beds was really no more than a cot, which was OK for a single night, bed would not be good for a longer stay.

The location is very good for accessing the old city.

Wasn't a problem though because the receptionist was good enough to phone them up for me and work out how to get the car out for me. Turned out to be surprisingly simple. Thanks!
