Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BelgiumHope I noted her name (reception) and the room number for next visit.
Friendly reception, super nice lady fluent in French and English, & very efficient. Clean everywhere & good beds. Lady receptionist sincerely apologised when electricians fixing the aircon reported to her that given room wasn't ready. It was fun, imagine entering with guys in the bathroom😜, one in the ceiling...well, it was fixed after a walk & dinner. Nice room and best hotel staff I met in Paris in the last 33 years. Merci beaucoup! J' espère te revoir la prochaine fois. Succes!

GreeceNothing comes to mind - we would definitely stay again :)
We really loved this hotel - the staff was very polite, the room was clean, comfortable and spacious for parisian standards. We also found the location very convenient: close to the train station, perfect for walking around.

CanadaI think this is essentially the case for most hotels in Paris, but the room was very small. We had our little guy (9 months) and with our bags there was not much room for him to even crawl on the ground and play. The lift is also very small so will likely require a couple trips up and down if there are multiple people and bags. Not a huge issue but worth noting.
The location is great. We felt like we could go any direction and were close to restaurants, shopping, transit, etc. As a starting point for our first couple days walking around Paris it was great. The staff was also very nice, our airline lost our stroller and the front staff helped call and translate for us so the airline could deliver the stroller to the hotel.

LuxembourgIf you spend nearly 24/24 in the hotel room it gets at times a bit cramped. However this was due to our special situation and has nothing to do with the hotel as we would have been happy with that if just for sleeping.
Location. Very convenient to move around with Metro. Staff were very helpful. Any of our requests they tried to help wholeheartedly. We were both sick on our journey and spend most time in the hotel. Cleaning was nicely arranged during our short moves around for breakfast in an great bakery. Also they provided without any hesitations some cutleries and plates to have some food in the room as well. Thanks for that extra step.

United KingdomUnfortunately being in such a central location meant that there was a lot of noise from the street, Sunday night there were cars papping until about 2:30am but I think there have to be some disadvantages to being so central.
Beds were comfortable, room was clean and we made good use of the Tassimo coffee machine. Bathroom was large, clean with a great shower. Hotel was close to Strasbourg St Denis metro and so handy for all the sights. There is an excellent bakery across the street called Bo & Mie

United States of AmericaThe hotel is situated a 2 minute walk from the closest metro which connected 2 main lines even on that goes straight to the Trocadero. The food around the area is great (Italian, Vietnamese, African) and there's a Franprix around the corner for snacks and food. The hotel had friendly and welcoming staff, and whenever you leave the hotel you leave the room key with them (thought it was weird at first but actually its comforting knowing I wouldn't lose the key). The staff was also accommodating to get us a view where we could see the sunset/city. The daily buffet is actually decent for the intro price but I would save money and get something at Bo & Me usually. The elevator broke down once for a few hours but was quickly repaired. The room walls are on the thin side but its an old building so, nothing much can be done. The beds could be more comfortable but eh. The bathroom was huge in my room, so very much appreciated especially in Paris. Overall I would come back and stay here!

The staff were attentive and friendly, and gave good recommendations for local french restaurants.. Hotel breakfast is very nice here with a really good variety to choose from. Hot and cold Great location for metro and places to eat. I would definitely return to this hotel if I was in paris again

GeorgiaThe elevator is a bit small.
I stayed at the hotel with my family for 5 nights. We liked everything. We had enough space in the room and the bathroom was even larger than we expected. Hotel staff members were very nice. The receptionist gave us recommendations concerning nearby restaurants and informed us about the best/easiest ways to get to several attractions. Hotel has excellent location. Metro is really very close and allows you to access all the attractions including the Palace of Versailles easily. There is a good boulangerie in front of the hotel and grocery stores nearby.
