Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandThe room was very quiet but the automatic lock on the elevator door could have been a little quieter.
Nice hotel in centre of Nice with very pleasant atmosphere, very close to the railway station, to the beach and seaside promenade. Very good connection to airport by the tram line and than short very short walk distance from the tram stop. All important points of Nice in walking distance. Room standard accepted. Good equiped bathroom with hair dryer. Room cleaning everyday. Very tasty and plentiful breakfast. Nice and cordial service by the hotel team.

United StatesWifi was problematic for me as a web log in is required instead of a SSID and password. My phone kept asking to log in although my Kindle Fire was fine with no problems streaming. My laptop running a VPN had problems connecting, NordVPN took a long time to connect and sometimes didn’t. Norton VPN could not at all. I don’t remember having this problems at the other hotels in Nice and I could not tether my phone as a hotspot. There always seems to be problems when you have to log in to an account rather than use SSID and password
I upgraded to view of park across the street. Very light with 2 glass doors onto small balcony with 2 chairs and a table. Room décor nice and modern and light. Desk with chair with outlet and other outlets on each side of bed. Large wardrobe closet with shelves so plenty of room to put things away. I didn’t use the mini-bar but it was fairly large (although without shelves) and cold. Good sized, modern and pleasant decor bathroom with plenty of towel hangers but the only place to put a kit bag or other travel toiletries is on shelf below sink which had towels on it. There was a bathtub with shower wand on the wall and plenty of places to put your own bath products. I did not use the provided squeeze bottle liquid provided. Very kind guy at front desk who also was in the breakfast room. The breakfast was decent with good bread, cheese, meat, yogurt, and a couple of sweets but only boiled eggs. The coffee machine made good coffee. I thought a little over priced for what was provided at 15 Euro especially since an electric kettle provide in room with instant coffee available. Interesting water machine in breakfast room available all day with carafes for breakfast or your room that dispensed water and sparkling water and bottles of mint and lemon to flavor the water. 10 minute walk from train station so don’t need a taxi. Large grocery store around the corner for snacks and beverages to have on balcony. A little shelf on each side of bed with adjustable reading light. The hotel is nice, comfortable and in a safe area although there other less expensive options near the train station.

FranceThe room was little and the furniture very old. For example the wardrobe was dirty inside. The bathroom was nice, but the shower head didn't work very well. The las and not least, the neighbours were very-very noisy.
The emplacement and the view on the square in front of the hotel. The decoration was beautiful and with taste.

PolandThe walls are thin so you can hear voices from the other rooms next to yours… Bed sheets and towels could have been more “white and fresh”. But these two points are not spoiling overall good impression:)
Great location (close to the centre, to the tram stop, close to the city main railway station, also you can get everywhere on foot:)). Room with a nice view from the balcony. Beds with good mattresses. Cosy old style building with lovely small elevator:) Nice staff, very helpful and polite (thank you)! Everyday room cleaning. Good breakfast.

PhilippinesIt would have been better if the microwave oven is in the dining area so as not to bother the front desk person though they were very accommodating still.
Good location as it is near the train station, a few minutes' walk to the tram station, mall and church. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The amenities are just right, and the breakfast is worth the amount we paid. If ever we are going back to Nice, we will surely stay here again.

AustraliaIt would be good to provide a little milk in the room to make tea and coffee. We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel as it was a bit expensive compared to other options.
Beautiful old building with modern decor inside, very comfortable beds and high quality linen, wifi was good, location perfect for leaving by train (a few minutes walk to station) and we could still walk to everywhere (beach, old town). Staff were very kind and welcoming. Excellent value for money

United KingdomThere were just a few small details, that added up. For example, there wasn't space between the end of the bed and the desk to fit in a chair, so i had to move the bed to work at the desk. Also, there was a hole in the wall by the air con which should have been fixed and was quite dirty. The sliding door to the bathroom often got jammed too. All minor things and easily resolved but meant it was just a good hotel rather than a great hotel.
The check in process was excellent. The staff were very welcoming and I was able to check into my room early. They also were on hand to help me with a lost key card with no fuss at all. The location was very nice too and the general decor was good. The rooms were decent size too.
