Lamps are projecting light at the hotel at night this light is a bit disturbing in your room. The bathroom doors are very old and do not have lock or cannot close. Bring something to cover your eyes if you like it dark at night.

Big bed and very comfortable. Nice breakfast and friendly staff.

The spa facilities were in very bad shape, the outside pool heating was not operating, the waiters in the restaurant were too busy to do good service and one main dish during dinner had a burned sauce.

The room was huge as well as the bed.

An utter disappointment. Old, worn, dark, mouldy-looking carpets, layers and layers of old paint on doors. Not dirty, though, just not inviting or old in the quaint and charming way. Rude restaurant staff - we brought our (very) little dog, it was lying quietly under the table during dinner, no problem. However, the next morning the very same waiter denied it access at breakfast, "no dogs!", even though we turned up very late and the restaurant was almost empty - so we had to eat breakfast after each other. Disappointing breakfast buffet, BTW. Coffee excellent, though - but remember to ask for a real espresso, barista style from the real machine - don't use the self-service coffee machines by the buffet. Dinner (a la carte) only OK, nothing special. Pool not suitable for active families as rules say 'no plunging', probably to accommodate the elderly spa swimmers which is fair enough. We felt very young - even though we're around 50.

Almost nobody speaks English in the staff, which is a bit interesting in a 3 stars hotel.

Really nice building, the staff is really friendly and helpful.

Located close to motorway made it a great place to stay for the night on our way home. Although the overall appearance of the facility looks as it has seen better days, the rooms are very spacious and the diner was very good.

To start with the staff cannot speak any language than French. The restaurant was avarage and expensive vs. quality.

The room was nice and big. The price wasn't bad.

Railways not far from the hotel. no train during the night but 1rst one at 7am so don't expect to sleep late or ask for rooms which are at the other side of the hotel. It was not an issue for us but it's better to know !

    Big family suite, large bed.

    No negative experience at all

Coming from the South of France we made a stop in Contrexeville. As most of the hotels were already closed for the season we had booked a room in Hotel-Club Cosmos. For a rather fair price we had a splendid room, and all kinds of comfort. We certainly will come back here and then spend some more days enabling us to enjoy all the possibilities.

We enjoyed our stay very much in this hotel and booked on our way to the Cote d'Azur and also on our way back to Amsterdam. We arrived in the middle of the night but the welcome by the gentleman at the reception desk was like a warm bath. Lovely pool, beautiful, old style hotel, we would have loved to stay longer and will certainly book again when we visit France.

Disabled access very poor. Steep ramp. Doubt if electric wheel chair would make it.

Grand old fashioned spa hotel. Very French atmosphere. 3 star but being upgraded, hoping to get 4 star. Lovely helpful section manager, Bertrand, super helpful. Good food in Dining room, small freshly cooked menu that changes daily. Great pool.
