Good location and comfortable.

Does not have a fridge or provide uht milk. Had to ask reception each day for some.

The location is next to everything, near les invalides. You can walk and take the public transportation for anywhere.

The cleaning was not the best.

Small rooms

Clean room and a comfy bed. We had a great view of Les Invalides. There was a bottle of filtered water in the room which we could refill from the filter tap in the bar. A nice touch. Nuruddin on reception was very helpful. The happy hour free coffee and croissants in reception was also a nice touch.

There is quite some debate about the size of the rooms. I'm 6' 1" and found the shower fine. The toilet was maybe a little tight. The room itself, whilst compact, made good use of every available space. The AC was quiet and effective. Overall we were happy with it and it was a good location for exploring the 7th (Invalides, ET, Quai d'orsay in particular) and by Metro to go further afield.

The room was smaller than rooms in the US, but it had all we needed. Everything was clean and attractive. It was nice to have air conditioning while Paris was so hot. The man at the front desk was friendly and spoke English well.

Staff was really good and helpful. This location was perfect !

The little elevator

It was clean and in a good location. It felt safe. It was quiet. The breakfast was good.

The rooms were incredibly small even as small goes. The WC was so tight we could not sit on the toilet and close the door because it hit our knees. The location was a bit too off the main areas. No cafes for morning coffee nearby.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel De France! The staff was absolutely amazing—so polite, helpful, and welcoming, both at the reception and in the breakfast area. Their kindness really made a difference and made us feel right at home. The breakfast was good with a nice variety, although it would be even better if the options changed daily, especially for guests staying multiple days. Our room was very clean and well-maintained, though it was a bit on the smaller side. However, the hotel’s location is excellent—everything you need is just around the corner, making it very convenient. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!
