We traveled with a motorcycle, and parked in front of the hotel. During the night someone tried to steal it, mainly damaging the blinkers, some chassis parts, mirrors and direction. So next time we are traveling to France, we will be paying for parking the motorcycle. It's not the hotel's fault itself, it's located in a not that secure area.

The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The hotel is well situated and the accomodation is comfortable. However, it was truly the staff that elevated my experience here.

The room was efficient but very small

Quaint hotel in a beautiful building in vibrant Les Arceaux (touching the historical centre). The garden is superb and I had a good view from it from my hotel room. The staff is also very vriendly. The breakfast was delicious but you do have to order each item in advance!

Breakfast was limited for the price - a pastry, some bread, a juice, a yoghurt and hot drink. Home made fruit salad was a nice touch. The hotel has original spiral staircases to some of the rooms- for noting if you're not good with stairs.

Bar fridge was useful. New bathroom - very modern multi function shower. Balcony and air conditioning were both appreciated. Sitting in the garden for breakfast was lovely. Helpful and kind staff. Good location for walking into the heart of Montpellier.

Because of the historical constraints of the building, our room (Classic Double) was very small, although we were told that it was by no means the smallest. There is extensive infrastructure work going on in Montpellier at present - tramlines have been re-routed and are being extended. The road outside the front of the hotel is currently blighted (although not directly outside) which made getting to and from the hotel more difficult than it should have been.

The hotel is housed in a beautiful old building opposite the aqueduct. The garden in the back is a real bonus - imaginatively planted and with some comfortable seating areas. The aircon throughout was an absolute godsend. There is a modern functional breakfast room, although we didn't use it. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful - to the extent that they carried our bags up two flights of steep, narrow stairs (there is no lift and we are of a certain age)
