We booked 2 rooms which were both on the small side, with threadbare carpets and in dire need or refurbishment. The carpet even had an iron burn mark! This is a 2 star hotel at best.

Fine room with clean bathroom, very helpful and exceptionally kind staff (especially the French lady at the breakfast and the young receptionist in the grey suit!). Excellent location with metro and bus nearby (two metro stations to choose from and bus No30 that takes you to main attractions and Gare du Nord). Fantastic breakfast served in a lovely breakfast room, decorated in genuine French style - the baguette and the strawberry jam were extra-ordinary tasty! The idea of leaving a "Bonne journee" message in the lift is just brilliant! Would certainly stay there again!

Well, like most older hotels in Paris, this one lacks space. Everywhere- lobby, rooms, elevator, hallways. But it compensates in terms of French charm.

A cosy, little hotel full of French charm. The staff is helpful and polite, the ambiance is theatrical, as it should be. Good sleep quality, good water pressure. The location of the hotel is great- 3 stops to the Opera Garnier, 4 stops to La Place de l'Etoile, 5 min.'s walk to Parc Monceau orto the charming restaurants in Rue des Dames.

The description of the room doesn’t match reality. The room was small, the carpet old and dirty. There was no aeration and the room smelled like moisture. There is no air conditioning, only a ventilator that makes a lot of noise. The bathroom is rather small and unpractical (water getting out as the glass protects only half of the shower). There is no fridge.

The location of the hotel is very good. Nice bars and restaurants close by.

Yes the croissants were extra flakey and the bed was extra comfy - I slept like a baby The hotel staff were amazing - so friendly, helpful, chatty and caring The hotel itself was so quaint and petite - but that's what made it so adorable

Being on a main road there was some noise from outside and some noise from works.

Breakfast was lovely. Comfortable room of a good size for central Paris. Very friendly and helpful staff, letting us know about an RER strike so that we could get to the airport in plenty of time. Great base for exploring central Paris and all of its attractions. Great bars and restaurants just up the road.

A bit noisy from outside in the night, impossible to sleep with windows opened. Slaping doors inside the hotel awaking you each time when the neighbours leave or enter their rooms.

A very cute room in parisien style. Very mordern and clean bathroom. Very helpfull stuff at the reception.

Very friendly staff, the bed was very comfortable and the value for money with breakfast included was excellent. A nice un-touristy Parisian neighbourhood (very respectable considering proximity to Pigalle) with good restaurants and cafes and good transport links with Metro lines 2 and 3 and buses close by.

It is a old-fashioned, but lovely building with a very small lift (only 2 persons fit in there). The stairway is also small. Breakfast was decent but could be better for a 3-star hotel.

My girlfriend and I had a delightful stay during the Christmas Days (25th - 30th Dec.). It was really easy to get from the Charles-De-Gaulle airport to the hotel (about 45min in total). There are two metro stations (Rome & Villiers) within a 3-minutes walk. From there you can take the M2 or M3, which connects you to all the other lanes. The staff was very friendly and nice as well.

The bed was very small and not very comfortable, specially the pillows. We stayed for 3 nights so it was manageable but any longer would kill your back after sleeping in that bed. Room itself was also very small. Staircase is extremely tiny and so is the lift.

Bathroom was very nice and clean and did not match the room at all. Hotel location fairly good, 2 metro stops in 300m radius and a very gorgeous park in few min walking distance-Parc Monceau.

The hotel rooms were totally different from the pictures. They were very, very ugly, probably the uglyest I have been to. The bed cover and towels did not smell or feel clean, and the bath room was not clean. Also the carpet was sticky and not clean. The was a very unpleansy smell in the room which was very disturbing. Everything in the room was very old, and should not be further used, because it was in very very poor condition. The room was very very small, and the stairs of the hotel were extremely small. The window did not close properly and wind would pass through it. There was absolutely 0 sound proof, you would hear absolutely everything the other guests were talking. At night you would hear absolutely every car or person that passed by, making it very hard to sleep. In case of a fire emmergency, you could not get out fast enought. Per total I think it was one of the worst hotels I have been to. I regret spending the money here, and will never come back.

The only thing I liked about my stay at this hotel was the staff, who were very nice people. It is the only thing that I thing is good at this hotel. It is not their fault that they work in such a miserable place.

Very small hotelroom and bathroom. Very small bed. Furniture is very old and damaged. Nothing in the room to make coffee or thee. No minibar. Breakfast not so fresh. Cold eggs, expired yoghurt. Very little choice in bread. I would give the hotel maximum 1 star.

De bathroom was quite new and clean. Friendly personal. Close to Metro station "Rome".

The staff were very helpful and friendly. They were also very knowledgeable about the hotel and the local facilities which was a great help to us as it was our first visit to Paris. The antique elevator was charming as was the breakfast area in the basement of the hotel. The theatrical theme was most appropriate given the hotel's proximity to the Theatre.

Property obviously wasn't as nice as in the pictures, although it was clean. It was surprising that such a small hotel has safe but doesn't have a fridge in the room. Was extremely disappointing that staff doesn't respect your rest and privacy!!! People banging the doors without considering other's sleep. Even if you don't have a card on the door asking to clean your room, they still do! During one morning two times someone walked in the room during our sleep! One time without even knocking! This was the first time I have ever experienced this kind of things in a hotel!!!

It was really close to lots of shops, restaurants and public transport which made the stay easy.

The only thing I didn't like is the very strong smell in the bedroom, probably the products used for the cleaning. Sorry about that, probably quite an unusual criticism!

The quiet, the bread and jam, the fruit juice, the breakfast as a whole. The kindness of the staff at the desk and at breakfast

Rooms are tiny and the hotel feels old and run-down both common areas and rooms. Breakfast room in in a basement and smells a little. Definitely need some work done soon and it doesn't correlate to the 3 stars rating it sports. Also, make sure you request any room except 2 and 3 as these are in the basement with a small window looking into a tiny indoor space. I'm sure we would have had a better experience in one of the upper level rooms.

Location was great to explore Paris on foot. Could be more central but definitely walkable to both Sacre Coeur and Arc du Triumph.

Street noise, due to this being in an area where there are numerous bars and cafes. Ear plugs would be handy, esp on a Saturday night.
