Old facilities. Dirty. Noisy and next to motorway. Bad smell in bathroom. Bad mattress. Room was really uncomfortable. I could not find any clean silverware in the restaurant tray for breakfast. This hotel needs total renovation.

Staff was kind, helpful and very polite.

The location was next to a busy road with heavy traffic noise all night. The hotel was an old Motel style building with rooms opening onto an open balcony corridor. Some guests smoked on the balcony with cigarette smells entering the room. The building was tired and in need of an upgrade.

Can not really think of anything I liked

Pillows were disgraceful. Very poor shower over bath with curtain too short so floor got wet. Bathroom fan did not turn off.

Bed was good and heating worked well on a cold night.

Very difficult to find! Easy though the next day to get back to motorway.

Simple accommodation, but fine for an overnight stay. Very close to motorway.

Noise from the motorway & the mattress quality was poor

Located next to the motorway it was ideal for travellers & our needs. The onsite restaurant was a pleasant surprise with extremely good food

A minor criticism but It needs better signposted from the main dual carriageway, you can see it but not the access/entrance point which is up an impasse. Once there drop a pushpin on the sat nav and its so easy.

Campanile are well known as a chain for providing good quality dining at a reasonable price. The food and restaurant staff at this one are exceptionally good and there is a terrace/garden you can dine outside at in decent weather. It shares a secure off road car-park with another hotel and there is always adequate space for the car. It's in a commercial estate which shuts down at 6pm so you're not troubled by roads noise and all rooms are accessed directly outside with double glazing and door porches . Immediate easy access to the autoroute network . Nice quality bedding and good climate controlled air-con. Immaculately clean bathrooms with limitless hot water. Wi-Fi a bit tempremental but that's France ! There is a beautiful state of the art boulangerie within 2 mins drive if you want to buy a picnic !

Staff in bar area were not helpful and very slow with order that you had to ask at least 3 times before drinks were served.

Breakfast was brilliant. Manager was very helpful and friendly.

Very difficult to find - no signage. Car park gate and reception closed earlier than we were advised so unable to get room key. Documentation said 11.00 pm - actual 10.00 pm. Saved by very helpful off duty staff member.

Value for money - when located

The decor is looking tired after years of continued use. Remember to take an electrical extension lead with you as there is only one accessible plug socket (that the TV uses) if you want to charge your devices overnight.

At least this hotel (or rather Motel as I'd call it) has a kettle for making hot drinks. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom (with shower in bath) is a good size. Clean throughout. Large double bed but only one extra pillow.

A non smoking policy would be good as we had to pass people smoking on balconies. My husband has breathing difficulties so this was really bad for him.

Everything was clean the bed was comfortable. Plenty of hot water. The room was lovely and warm which was good as it was freezing in the night.

I have stayed in quite a few Campaniles, & generally rate them pretty good value for money. However, this one is in dire need of some updating, & soundproofing. Very noisy rooms as there's a main road about 50 meters away!

Ease of parking. Friendly welcome. Good steak frites!

The service in the restaurant for an evening meal was poor, as was the quality of the meat in the burger, barely edible. The breakfast menu was meagre for the price. This hotel is nothing like we have come to expect from Campanile hotels where we have stayed a number of times

It was 40 degrees on arrival, and the air conditioning in our room did not work. It seemed ok until after dinner that night, so we reported it in the morning. Nothing was done, so we had 2 uncomfortable nights. We were moved to another room for the final night.

The location is ideal for the assembly we were attending. It is easy to find, just off the autoroute. It is also close to other facilities including a large supermarket with filling station.

Not enough coffee or tea bag. We were two and there was only 2 little bag of instant coffee and one herbal tea bag of one flavor and another one of a different flavor. Campanille could perhaps offer 2 tea bags since it's a bedroom for two.

    Clean, no dog's smell.
