banged up lobby/entrance. broken sliding door detector, filth on floors/in corners obvious, dirty and dingy, badly lit hallways, etc.

the room we got was newly redone and pretty great. altgoughnotquite finished. the reat of thehotel was shabby, run down, not at all what the pictures on the internet looked like. lobby was a mess. refurbishment going on at the time of atay. a discounted price would have been appropriate.

Overall it was tired and needs a facelift. Shower was faulty and my husband had to fix it himself by unscrewing and then screwing it back to make it work

L’Hôtel était en travaux, réveillé avec des bruits insupportables. la moquette tachée et sale. Sur les murs il y a les traces d’humidités. Des traces vertes de champignons dans la baignoire.

No air-conditioning. Dusty room / bathroom with bath + shower curtain. (actual shower was ok but all a bit spartan in our room.)

Convenient stopping point on return journey from Annecy via Lyon towards Calais. Ideally situated for a 20 minute drive to Puy de Dôme- which is fantastic. Worth any inconvenience to take the Panoramique railway and see the volcanoes of France!

Upon arrival, receptionist was not at the desk. I waited for 10 minutes, and finally I had to call the hotel number so she would show up. She was rude about explaining the parking conditions. The wardrobe door was broken. The red shower curtain did not look clean. They changed the towels despite the fact they were hanged after we use as required to be for "environment friendliness". I really do care about stuff like that, I always get annoyed when they change a clean towel for nothing.

The room, large bed, big bathroom, nice view of the cathedral. Excellent breakfast.

A stale smell of cigarettes in the bedroom was upleasant. The grey decor was reminiscent of a fusion of East Croydon and the old East Berlin.

The carpet was badly stained. The whole room needed an update. There were no nets on the window, we were straight opposite a block of flats so needed privacy. The price of parking 15 Euros per night.
