Cheaper breakfast only known on penultimate day. Hotel do not appear to want guests to spend money in hotel? Whilst located on a busy road, there is noise from passing traffic if on balcony or door open. Double glazing cuts out the noise when door shut. Air conditioning unit noisy.

Location. Modern room. Well designed ensuite bathroom.

The room wasn't too spacious, especially the entrance; we had a real hard time getting our baby's stroller through and just couldn't get it past the bed, so we had to leave it in the entrance. The breakfast was good but not worth the 14€ price tag

Nice, modern hotel conveniently placed on the seaside close to the port of Garavan in Menton. The room was clean and nicely decorated as were all the public spaces. Unfortunately we couldn't really enjoy the pool due to the weather. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful.

The pool is a little bit exposed being on the main road side of the property. This visit it wasn't an issue as we preferred the the beach, but it was a little off putting. Other than that minor point this is a total I'll look forward to returning to.

Amazing staff, helpful and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic courtyard garden, ideal spot for breakfast. The location is perfect, a gentle 10 minute stroll to the Old Town and five minutes from a beautiful botanical garden.

Not having a restaurant might be an issue for some but as it’s close to all the areas facilities this didn’t bother us. Parking is a challenge so book one of the limited spaces if you can or risk a very busy on street option!

Great location near beach. A bit noisy with traffic when outside but no issues in bedroom etc. Air con is a necessity though! Room service was very good.

For a 4 night stay which came to £800 (taxi transfer on top) I think breakfast could have been included in the price. Not the most attractive of hotels. Some hotels further into Menton had more of a traditional style but wouldn’t have had the old town view

Great location with balcony room overlooking the old town. Though expensive, cheaper to book taxi through the hotel (98 Euro out and 120 Euro on the return). Taxi from airport not booked through hotel about 160 Euro each way

A minor point: The road outside is busy and little noisy through the night, but if you want quiet get a room at the back. If you want a sea view get a room at the front. But otherwise you can’t fault this fantastic gem.

Excellent hotel. Extremely helpful staff. Brilliant breakfasts. The location appears to be quite far from the center of Menton but there’s a lovely walk along the promenade into town and just 500m from Menton Garavan station which takes you anywhere along the Cote d’Azur - direct to Cannes, Nice, Antibes, Villefranche-Sur-mer and of course central Menton. There are even direct trains to Paris.

Could do with heated mirror in bathroom or mirror elsewhere in room as gets very steamy, air conditioning not very effective but not really necessary at this time of year so didn’t feel it necessary to investigate further!

Great location on the seafront, nice walk along the front to the various shops and restaurants (approx 10 min). Room (mountain view) was huge and immaculately clean. Amazing shower in ensuite. Nice interior designed but worst experience ever!!! The wall is too thick! I can hear every single word the couple next door were talking. And the movement of upstairs. And in the early morning, people next door turned on the TV or radio. I can totally hear every single word. What's more! The shower is a disaster! Something wrong with the drain. After I shower for just 1 minute, it became a POOL! POOR ME. Was really late when I arrived and the staff doesn't speak English so I don't want to bother to change another room. :(

The location is good. But without parking.

No view at back of hotel but that does mean no traffic noise. Felt that breakfast at €14 pp is a little dear. Gurgling water sounds from AC unit could disturb some people.

Updated, smart rooms and social spaces. Nice bar, courtyard and lounge for drinks inside or out. Poolside gym with 4 machines, clean pool area with plenty of sun beds (next to road so traffic noise but completely sheltered and private). Great location for marina, beach ( public and private), beachfront bars and restaurants, 15 minute walk into old town. Secure open air parking for up to nine cars. Lovely staff. Breakfast at €14 each wasn't taken. Coffee and tea making in room and free minibar of water and soft drinks. Good walk in shower. Great selection of TV stations.

There is limited on site parking. Even though we had booked a space it was full.

Bright modern decor with arty feel. Location on front near beaches lovely though some may prefer a town centre location. Staff particularly pleasant and helpful. Front rooms with terrace overlooking the sea front are particularly good for people watching. Snacks are available throughout the day; beach towels provided and pleasant small pool available on site. Machine for squeezing fresh orange juice at breakfast was welcome and there is a small courtyard garden space if you are lucky enough to get a table there. Very good buffet breakfast.

Hotel offered free tea and coffee making facilities but several times no milk left....and then when asking for 'more'........we'll.......just picture Mr Bumble's reaction to Oliver 's similar request!!!! Would have foregone the soft drinks in minibar to have sufficient tea, coffee and milk for cuppa first thing in morning and last thing at night. Tiny but neat, clean swimming pool right next door to very noisy main road....so rarely saw people using it. Breakfast expensive for limited choice of fare.

Proximity to railway station. Big, comfortable bed. Free soft drinks bar..........but??? One very willing and helpful gentleman on Reception.

Lovely, stylishly decorated small hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff eg. - we rang the hotel on arrival in Menton when we couldn't find a taxi and the receptionist called a taxi for us. We were given a welcome drink of homemade lemonade when we arrived. Delicious breakfast, lots of choices, can be eaten either in appealing jungly garden or attractive dining room. Very welcome small pool, with good snacks, drinks and ices on offer. Towels loaned for either pool or beach. Would definitely return.

I understand it's not the Hotel's decision but the fact that Menton's hotels cannot use air conditioning in October meant the rooms were very uncomfortable in the evening - fans may be necessary. The evening attendant said there was nothing he could do and to sleep with the balcony door open - not really an option for security and noise !

The rooms were very comfortable in terms of bedding and bathroom. The location and sea views were lovely ! The staff - particularly Suzanna and Gabrielle were excellent !

The view on the mountain side is not great on the lower floors. The hotel is slightly off the town center so needs a few minutes walk to get to the more lively areas. Some decent restaurants around though.

Comfy bed and sheets, nice room decoration (very pop!), clock radio with Bluetooth, 24h staff, hotel on the sea front. The pool, gym and bar are nicely grouped together near the lobby and were attractive. Good breakfast in a quiet patio.

Whilst we were staying there was a film crew in attendance (the french version of '4 in a bed', or similar). We were asked to sign a consent form, in case we were inadvertently filmed, and this was a minor inconvenience when trying to get breakfast etc. because we were asked to stay out of shot. After 2 days of filming (pool area & lobby) we were happy to see them go.

Room was okay, big bathroom. The pool area is only small, but there were always enough pool beds available. There is also a small gym on-site. The breakfast is a nice selection, and good quality. Menton itself is a lovely area, although the beach bars/restaurants were strangely quiet for June ? On any given night 2/3rds of them were closed ?
