Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandTwo basic things must be fixed: 1) please wash the towels in the hot water with proper washing powder. The towels are very smelly even when unused, not to mention after the first use 2) fix a socket in the bathroom. It was impossible to use any electrical device as the socket was broken. Also the pics of the room are misleading as the room appears much bigger than it is in reality. Be honest and upload proper pictures.
The bed was comfortable and the staff was very friendly.

Canada- Not a particularly good location; you have to take the metro quite far to get to the centre. At least there are some grocery stores, bakeries, and pharmacies in the area. I didn't feel like I was in any danger, but perhaps that was because I was a tourist and didn't know any better. - Unfortunately, there seemed to be some mold on one of the corners of the room, and some weird stuff on the inner side of the bathroom door. The room seemed to be meticulously clean except for those two specific things, which I found rather weird.
- Air conditioning worked well. Much appreciated, given how hot it was most of the time. - Bed was decently comfortable. - Bathroom was small, but decently well-equipped. - The staff were decently friendly and were able to accommodate me pretty efficiently. - There is a safe in the room. - The wardrobe and shelves were more than big enough to accommodate my clothes and the few other things I chose to use them for. - It seems that they clean your bed linens pretty regularly. - You can turn off the main lights from the bed.

CyprusThe area was safe we had no issues but at nights we felt a bit insecure with people on the streets staring at us. The bathtub in the room was slippery.
The room was very comfortable and very clean and very near to the Metro station and to many bakeries.

United KingdomThe hotel is very clean and well decorated. The staff on reception were welcoming and helpful. It is a professionally run hotel. The rooms were a good size. It was especially hot in Paris during our stay so it was lovely to come back to our air-conditioned room. I have stayed in this area before but not at this hotel. I plan to return to the Hotel Paris Villette next time.

-A decent size room and shower room -close to Metro stations 6-8minutes walk to Rosa Parks or Crimee or a 30 minutes walk from Gare du Nord if you feel like walking -secured facility. They lock the entrance door at night which you can only open using your key card or you can be buzzed in by the receptionist - receptionist are helpful and greets you every time -has a good working AC

United KingdomOur room was on the first floor and facing the main road. We weren't able to sleep the first night due to the noise levels. Thankfully, we got moved to a different room facing the yard the following night which was excellent, very quiet, no noise at all. Thanks to the staff on night duty, who was able to get this sorted when we spoke to him the first night. Rooms facing the street should be made sound proof,in particular the first floor.
Hotel was close to the underground station and staff was helpful. 20 minutes or so by metro to Paris city centre. Also good location to get to the bus stop for Bouvais airport bus service.

NetherlandsThe breakfast is a bit limited, but hey, still much more choice than i have at home. Rooms can be a bit noisy, especially with noisy neighbors. The hotel is relatively cheap for Paris and that shows a bit in the state of maintenance. Some things in my room could do with some repair/revision, but even so, it was absolutely clean.
Very friendly staff. Rooms and facilities very clean.

FranceThe location is a bit far from the metro station. The station is on line 7, which makes it convenient to reach Opéra and the Louvre, but you’ll need to change lines to get to the Eiffel Tower. The hotel is also quite far from the Eiffel Tower by car (about 35 minutes by taxi).

United KingdomIf I'm really going to nitpick, the shower could have been a bit more powerful.
for the price, we were expecting something a little, shall we say, substandard. However, we were met by a lovely little hotel, friendly staff, a comfortable room and all very very clean. I'd definitely recommend and next time in Paris, I won't be wasting money at higher end hotels again!
