The hotel is having an issue with bookings.com in that their shared portal has been compromised, and we were scammed ahead of our arrival. We ended up paying twice, and sadly, the hotel did not give us the heads up before we travelled out. The IT scam is incredibly professional and easy to fall for. To avoid it, just do not pay over a link or in advance. Pay at the check-in desk, and you'll be fine. Apparently, many hotels are affected, and the scammers intercept genuine email correspondence between guests and the hotel, so it is very hard to spot. Be careful and only pay when you 100% sure you are dealing with the hotel itself. Phone to check if you are even a tiny bit unsure if you asked to pay ahead of arrival. The hotel is lovely and otherwise we enjoyed all of our Paris stay.

The location is great being a residential area. Close to metro and buses and nice restaurants but away from the main tourists. The nearest big attraction is the Arc de triomphe, which is a really good place to visit.

Too much noisy, soundproof was not good, room entrance was too narrow

Moved to room 36 to get two beds, I believe the heating system did not work in this room As it was freezing.

The lady owner was so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us, the other staff the same! Well done

The bathroom had a weird “burning” smell

Rooms were lovely and very comfortable beds to sleep in. Shower was powerful and very spacious.

Nothing was unexpected, we knew what we booked and we got what we paid for.

It was the first time booking a hotel in Paris, so we do not have an accurate idea of what average or good value for money actually means here. But regarding Pavillon Monceau - We liked the hospitality of the staff, the great location and accessibility. We liked the non-stop reception, the fact that we were allowed to check in earlier with 1h before the specified date, the absolutely comfortable beds( my son is a sensitive sleeper, and here he did not wake up once). The area and Blvd Malesherbes are great, safe, easy access to attractions, to subways, restos and even to a local market, which is not to be missed if around in the week-ends.

The room was a little bit too small, it were difficult for open the door cause of the bed who were near the door, it was complicate with luggages and to go outside

I would have been happier if they change the towels more often since the room was not very big (but enough) and the towels couldn’t get dry during the day - it gave the smell of humidity. Anyway I would stay there again. I recommend it.

The location is perfect, the staff is gentle and kind. The bed was extremely comfortable! I haven’t had the chance to try the breakfast.

There didn't seem to be any ventilation in the bathroom which in turn made the bathroom smell abit damp,we did keep the door open as much as possible. Would have appreciated an extra spoon, teabags and maybe biscuits or a bottle of water in the fridge when we arrived just as an extra welcome pack. Also toiletries were alittle restricted.

The location was very good,my sister had recommended it as she used to live nearby so valued her opinion. Close to the bus stop and metro station. The beds were very comfy and rooms clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had a small balcony which was a bonus and not expected! Would keep in mind for future visits.

Very very small room with incredibly tiny bathroom , no phone in my room , location is not so good but OK , i dealt with two different ladies in the morning reception and both were unfriendly at all

The room was very noisy as it faced the main road. We couldn't stay very long on the balcony because of the noise. There was no full size mirror (present in a much smaller room we stayed at in the same hotel) and the angled faucet design in the bathroom was challenging.

The room has a nice little balcony and two chairs to enjoy time outside. There was plenty of room for our suitcases and things. Lots of plugs, desk, USB ports. The walls, carpet, paint and linens are very fresh and new looking.

Our room, while quiet and well appointed, was ridiculously small. There were maybe 15-20cm of space around the bed. Opening the doors to the room, bathroom and closet was like playing a game of Tetris, it had to be done in a certain order or my partner and I could not fit. There was a window we never opened because the suitcase rack was in front of it.

We had a room on the sixth floor with two windows and a tiny balcony (maybe two?) we could step out on. The view is very Parisian and the room fairly quiet. Plenty of plugs around the bed and the desk, as well as USB ports. Front desk personnel was kind and helpful. The bus stop is close but the metro is a ten/fifteen minutes walk away. There is a DELICIOUS boulangerie less than a block away, a nice brasserie and a convenience store across the street.
