Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Kingdom€8 for a beer but this seems to be the standard price in the area!
Comfy bed, amazing view from balcony, lovely hot shower with nice soaps/shampoo/conditioner, fridge in the room, plentiful breakfast, nice pool. I read in one recent review that parking was a problem however we found easy free parking near by, just a short walk away.

United KingdomMost of the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. One receptionist was a bit cold and never smiled once. Made me feel like I was too much trouble for checking in! Reception hours for checking is limited. Restaurant wasn’t open in the evening.
Great location for the alpe d’Huez triathlon races. Good lockers to store bikes on site. Rooms gorgeous with lovely bathrooms and great balconies. Spa looked really nice but we ran out of time to make use of it.

Great location. Staff was very friendly. Rooms spacious and clean. We arrived in the morning and they prioritized that we can get the room earlier, as check-in was only from 4 pm.

United KingdomThe rooms are fairly expensive for what you get but that is quite common in ski resorts!
Breakfast was great, and the staff were very helpful and flexible.

AustraliaYou have to pay to use the jacuzzi in the afternoon.
Brilliant hotel. Rooms large with balconies overlooking the ski lifts and mountains. The restaurant is 5 star every night. Some of the most amazing meals we have had. Great restaurants and shops around the hotel and easy walk with skis to a small outdoor 4 person stand up gondola to the main ski area.

United KingdomAmazing hotel, great welcome, good service. They were so nice, for the cycling event that was taking place that I was part of they put on breakfast at 5.30am because they knew we had an early start. That was not just some food left out but a full breakfast service with the staff. Rooms are lovely and facilities are great. Parking was easy.

United Kingdomwe have stayed before without any noise issues, but we had a room this time with interconnecting door. Although it was closed , we could hear neighbours coughing and snoring, not good sound proofing if you have one of these rooms

United StatesFree sauna would be very helpful after skiing for relaxation. And it is almost not available because you need to make a reservation, and wait can be more than 2 days. Also, you need to pay 15 Euros per person for 1 hour!!!
Room was spacious, enough for 2 people with separated bath and and toilet. Tap water has a better quality and taste than water from plastic bottles! Breakfast has a pretty good variety of food and coffee. Bar in the lobby is very convenient for guests who doesn't want to go to any other places at the evening and enjoy a fire place. Swimming pool is a nice addition if you'd like to use it.

NetherlandsParking not in the building itself. Fridge in the room did not work and no effort was made to repair it. Breakfast started at 8 AM only, which may be a bit late if you you have big plans for a day.
Staff was super friendly, tried everything to make you feel welcome. No hidden costs, all was as published on the website. Location was superb, in the middle of the town and close to all facilities.

FranceI have done hundreds of hotels in my life across dozens of countries and that’s probably the poorest hotel refurbishment I have ever seen: poor thermic and sonic isolation, walls and painting plastered into a weird 70s back in the future look and feel. No room service, no reception direct lines in the rooms, breakfast completely average, no parking in the facilities and on and on. Seriously, if this is a Boutique 4 stars hotel, then there must be some sort of misunderstanding about what a boutique hotel should be…
Bedrooms were clean but that’s probably the only thing I appreciated in this hotel

United Kingdom1. Decor could do with updating 2. Despite telling staff safe in room didn’t work 3 times, nothing was done to mend it during our stay. 3. Breakfast had lots of different offers, but the cooked breakfast was cold (particularly bacon etc - the warming pans weren’t on for long enough clearly), and there was no salt/pepper on tables. 4. The heating was not turned on in the ski lockers so boots wet in morning. 5. There was a damaged chair on our balcony when we got there which we asked to be replaced but wasn’t. 6. reception was ok with bar and fire but not large for number of rooms and not very welcoming. Spa was ok but extra charges for hot tub etc which is normally included.
The staff were very polite and welcoming and the room size was good with good size bathroom and balcony etc. It was close to a bubble lift although that did require walking across a couple of roads or scrambling down a bank but thats fine. Also close to centre so near restaurants etc.
