One receptionist has a fiery temper, showers are very small and AC rubbish. Could do with decorating throughout. Very expensive and breakfast is basic for 14 euros!!! Staff are not attentive. This is our 3rd stay and has gone downhill in last few years

The swimming pool (even though needs repairs) was really refreshing - be warned it is cold. You also need a car to travel to / from hotel

The breakfast is too expensive for the style fo hotel. There are bakeries nearby where you can get a coffee and a croissant for around 5 euros or less. I wouldn't bother with the breakfast at the hotel.

I've stayed at this hotel before because it is very quiet. It's not near to the beach but you can get there in a reasonable amount of time depending on traffic. It's set in a residential area so at night it's very peaceful.

The staff were unfriendly and barely present. They left at 10pm leaving most of the property unlocked and unsafe. The rooms looked nice but the bed linen had so many stains. The pool area and jacuzzi looked lovely but were so freezing cold that you could not use them. The red wine they served us at the bar was gone off. I can't comment on the restaurants as they were closed Sunday and Monday. There isn't anything within walking distance but with a car the harbour is only a few minutes away. This hotel could be a gold mine but it's terribly managed!

    The building is beautiful

The bar/restaurant is not open all day, only during lunch and dinnertime (and closed sundays). Drinks during the day when restaurant is closed you can order at the reception. The staff is very helpful to bring you the drinks but it is not an ideal situation.

The hotel is beautiful. Staff is very friendly and always there to help. Breakfast is great. Not a lot of variety of choices. The croissants and pain au chocolat are very delicious and freshly baked. Beautiful patio to sit outside for breakfast. The location of the hotel is perfect, beach and city centre are within a 15 minute drive. It was nice to escape the crowded beach and city. The hotel is located in a very quiet area.

This is a cheap & resolutely 3 star hotel so you get what you pay for. The standard rooms are very small and spartan. The 'terrace' was a tiny patch of gravel over-looking the car park, divided from the next room by a not-at-all private hedge. The pool area looked good on the website but is on the small side & was packed at all times by guests who stake their patch by leaving their towels before breakfast. Wifi was extremely slow and frustrating and virtually useless.

The creeper-covered, Spanish style exterior of the hotel was beautiful & provided plenty of parking under the distinctive parasol pines of the South of France, making for a positive first impression. The setting is lovely but note that it is a 10 minute drive from town. The enormous, dusty, faux-castle lobby & salon with towering fireplace & mezzanine was impressive on first glance but very weird. The rooms were very clean & staff were helpful.

very good restaurant at night with a lovely menu at a fair price for Half board two or three choices per course and ally top quality wait staff and cooks excellent very much enjoyed the three nights eating there. park for free if a little away from the center, I would use the restaurant even if staying somewhere else comfortable beds and good sized bathroom

Unfortunately, the morning after I arrived, I had a very different experience trying to receive help (directions, advice, etc) from the morning desk manager. He was quite rude and continued to ignore me, even though I was the only one at the desk. After 5 attempts over the course of two hours, I finally was able to get a city map from him (along with an eye roll, and words in Italian about having to help me- he did not realize I spoke Italian), but still he was unwilling to give me further help after that. He simply walked back on this office and sat down. It was quite disappointing, especially since the rest of the hotel staff seemed to be very friendly. But he is a representative of the hotel and often, the reception sets the level of standard at a hotel.

The hotel was wonderful, and a decent distance from the city, not too far, but just enough to be tranquil. The first concierge/front desk manager was delightful and very willing to help.

The hotel seemed to be short staffed at times, especially during the dinner service which ruined the dining experience. The free WiFi didn't reach our room so we had to sit in the main living area to access the internet. The fridge in our room wasn't efficient so our drinks weren't cold. The hotel and grounds need to be cared for - many of the plants were dry and dying; lighting around the hotel and car park was inadequate. Lots of little details could be fixed and improve a visit to the hotel.

The hotel is in a relaxed and quiet area 10 minutes drive from Frejus and Saint Raphael. It's a lovely grand old building, though it needs some care and attention. The food in the restaurant is good and there is an onsite bar. The rooms are cosy and cute; good sized en suite bathrooms with great water pressure and temperature control. There's a pool table though we didn't have time to use it. Plenty of car park spaces. The pool is also a good size for a quick dip though not for serious swimmers.

Room very pure and minimal with an old "furniture" only 2 pcs..... In the bathroom we had water coming from the sealing... it just lasted for a few hours but when you arrive to your room it is not a nice scene to see. We've called the reception and when they've arrived to our room the answer was "well it is not falling down so much"... Dinner in the restaurant was good, but without any menu choice.... You had to eat the plates of the day.... This was a shame as the presentation and food was really good!

From outside a very nice structure with a great swimming pool and in beautiful position just few minutes from the city.

The only negative experience at breakfast, the lady serving was very rude pushing the guests aside while getting the food put on the food stands. Irrespective to pregnant women, seemed for her normal to push then simply to say sorry. Breakfast was so so, no mineral/natural water, only tap water available. No coffee/tea utilities in rooms, fridge available but empty, no other utilities than soaps.

Almost everything. Beautiful grounds with pine trees, pétanque, pool, swimming pool, very nice welcoming into the hotel by the staff, quality inexpensive dinner (25 euro 3 course menu), 5 euro dog fee but charging every pet.. air conditioner working well
