Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

A thing I was missing was the opportunity to make a cup of coffee/tea in the room, as there was no facilities to do so. I had to go downstairs to get a cup. Other than that, it was a nice hotel and very friendly staff. A place I will visit again

Parking was €17 per day, we had no option due to minimal parking on the street. Our room was smaller than we expected. Price of breakfast.
Location of property was great, and very well maintained. Breakfast was good but slightly overpriced. Staff were polite & helpful, we hired E bikes which we were able to store at the hotel.

No shower curtain
Great location close to the metro and buses, excellent staff and very good value. The bar is also well stocked, comfortable and well priced. We would strongly recommend this hotel.

We always stay at this hotel on our way back to the UK. It is excellent value for money. The staff are very polite and helpful. The accommodation is clean and well looked after. Easy access to the auto route.

The property is in a good quiet location. Not far from the N137. It had a lovely bar, terrace and gardens. The breakfast was lovely and had a variety of options to choose. Sadly there was no alternative milk for those who would prefer soya milk or others. The bedroom was small but adequate for a nights overnight stop. The bed was comfortable. The wc was in a separate room and very small but manageable. The shower cubicle was fine. The room was clean but all a bit dated.

liked the retro feel of the property, the staff were excellent, location a bit of a walk to town but the transport system good. The rooms followed the retro style of the hotel.

We would have liked a kettle in the room to make brews but this is only a minor detail.
The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and it had a fully opening balcony window with shutters to keep the room cool and fresh. Everything was clean and well presented. The breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of delicious treats.

The room was really small for our large dog too but we managed.
Excellent stay here. The room was so well decorated and lovely memorabilia over the hotel. Great to have free parking and a lovely walk along the river to town. They were lovely with our dog. The manager was so friendly and so helpful.

Room was tired, not suitable for anyone disabled. Tiny elevator, not big enough for wheelchair or even two large people. Meagre breakfast, no cooked options. Poor choice of cold meats and cheese. Room small and strangely decorated but very clean High step into shower made it risky to step out. Tiny toilet cubicle encouraged claustrophobia. No easy entrance for disabled people.
It was clean and staff were very kind and pleasant. Bed was comfortable. Pillow was not( too soft and flat. ) lovely surroundings.

Beautiful little hotel with absolutely stacks of charm and character. Quirky design and a bit old fashioned, but all adding to the charm, in an age of sterile boring facilities. Excellent value, and really friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again
