Room is 3x3 square meter. Is old and rooms are not well maitained. Is 30% overpriced. Breakfast is very basic but no eggs or other hot dishes. Internet is very poor and that is in 2018 very easy to fix and make faster. A beer is almost €5 there is no restaurant in the hotel. So for almost €120 a night two persons you better can find a hotel outside of the city

The staff was very friendly but one of the receptionist not speak English. In 2018 in a hotel and hospitality service that’s a must

Shockingly awful breakfast, ran out of food by 9.15 , far too slow to restock . Waited for most people to leave then put out a few half frozen loaves . Management v poor . Avoid hotel , much better available locally at similar price

    Reception girl excellent on arrival

Hot day (though pleasantly cooler night) so lack of working air con didn't matter in the end; and though Macon is understated and lacks some attractions it (sort of) grows on you as a pleasant place to be/ see.

Private parking, nice room, very good staff, decent facilities (central tea/ coffee and seating area), good breakfast and value.

The one night stay price was extremely high and we expected a much nicer room. The bathroom door looked like a temporary sliding door solution and there was no wardrobe just an alcove with one hanger on a rail. The breakfast was really disappointing too.

    Location was good.

The parking was in a scary private parking building down the road from the hotel. It was dark and difficult to access, and did not feel very safe at all. Also, because of the one-way system, it was quite a long drive from the hotel (although close on foot). There were tea and coffee facilities at the door but no milk available when requested. Access to our room was difficult - although there was a lift, there were then internal steps which were not easy for my Mum who some disability. The rooms were extremely plain and bare, and quite small, for the price, which was quite high.

Breakfast was ok. Beds were comfortable. Staff were pleasant.

The bed was great. The rest, really VERY basic. On this trip we also stayed at the Ibis Styles in Beaune and Lyon Gare part Dieu. The Macon one is nowhere near on par with either in terms of comfort or size. Seems more of a Ibis Budget. That said, it was quiet and we slept well which was all we needed it for. Parking was available for extra but we did manage to find parking nearby -after spending a very long time figuring out how to get to hotel with all the city construction (not the fault of Ibis but they probably should have sent a message regarding that). We stayed at 7 hotels in our trip and this one

It was too hot in the room and smelt of mold or something else. Had to sleep with the windows open which was not ideal.

The location of the hotel was great for what we planned. There was a great Indian restuarant just around the corner which served excellent food. The hotel was clean, but could not regulate the heating as the air con was turned off. The breakfast was great, but expensive in my opinion.

Parking garage next to hotel was full, so we had to go to another parking garage a few blocks down. Room was extremely small, shower needs to be refurbished. Water and coffee in the room would be a good addition.

Location close to the city center. Water, coffee and tea available in the lobby. Very clean. Private parking available (against cost).

The hotel decor was rather odd in a childish sort of way. There was no bar although drinks were available in the lobby area. Parking was in an area of a gated uncovered carpark. The hotel isn't as central as the name would have you believe.

The room was a good size, quiet and comfortable. My room had a view over the street and an interesting roundabout with a metal giraffe on it!? Breakfast was quite good while seating was a little limited.

We arrived mid afternoon and were pleasantly surprised that there was tea and coffee facilities in the foyer (wedged between the children toys and computer console), however when I asked for some milk for the tea I was told none was available - no point having the facilities available really.

Although it is written that there is a private parking on site (9 euro/day), their garage located in another building (rather far from the hotel), and it is on the third (!!!) floor without lift (!!!). There is a terrible noise (each 2 minutes) from the electricity system. We could not sleep, and could not rest. Do not recommend to stay in this hotel.

    Actually - nothing good.
