We had the bedroom suite and it was just great to have that extra seating area and balconies on both rooms. All very spacious and beautifully decorated. Breakfasts very nice - yes, flaky croissants and lovely crusty French bread !😊 The beaches were very clean but obviously stoney as you would expect on that coastline.

Coffee (it was ropey - why can't the French make decent coffee?), choice at breakfast, access to glasses so that I could have water as well as juice. The bedroom was fiercely hot with no access to controls. Some of the light switches did not work.

    Pleasantly quaint hotel.

    Nothing

Not sure about disabled access but there was no lift but there may be ground floor rooms. Near the beach and easy walking around the port where there are many fish restaurants. We were slightly out of season so not a lot going on during the week.

The bed is small, my husband is tall 1.92m and the bed was 130x180. The walls are not soundproof, we heard everything from the room above us.

It was very clean. The TV wasn't working and they fixed the problem and also cleaned the bathroom and left us clean towels. The hotel is very close to the beach.

The dark corridors leading to the rooms - although they did have lights at every opportunity.

The room and bathroom were a good size, clean and bright., although a little dated. Breakfast the next day was good and a fair price.

A bit more variety in breakfast would have been good. Bar drinks were a bit over priced.

Room felt dated, bathroom door did not fit the doorframe and would not close, Our room (21) had a corner bath with a mixer tap and shower hose. Think a proper shower would be a better option here. The view was poor, back of hotel overlooking the buildings behind.

Location was perfect, breakfast was fresh with plenty of choice, The English Pub had a very cosy feel to it, reminded me of pubs of old. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

This is a comparative issue. The night after this stop we stayed in a modern hotel in Deauville in a great location and for the same price. In terms of value for money I'm afraid the hotel d'angleterre simply doesn't make it

Difficult review this one. Hotel is old and whilst clean and tidy it is in need of significant refurbishment. Ok but needs improvement

The toilet fitted to the en suite facility in Room 26 is very badly located. It is impossible for a normal human being to sit on the toilet in it's existing position. It would be a simple task to realign the toilet.

We have stayed here several times before. We like all the attributes listed above.

Spoke only French, Stairs cantilevered and almost spiral with no handrail on one side in places, all of which made carrying cases difficult especially if of limited mobility. I paid for car parking but it did not seem any more secure than public parking very close. Breakfast very limited. limited. Worst of three Inter-hotel we stayed at this trip.

Easy walk to most of the port and the town

The rooms and hallways are a little dingy. The breakfast was meager for the price. Parking was awkward in the little tiny area behind the hotel. Don't bring a big car! The view from the rooms was not very good. The hotel is overpriced.

The location is very near the beach and that was the best thing about the hotel. The staff are few and so you have to wait if they are serving breakfast but they are very courteous and friendly and will very happily answer questions.

Our bedroom was in an annex, and did not resemble any of the photos on the site. The hallway was dowdy, smelt a bit stale. The carpet was a mid brown ratan, that gave the room a dismal, slightly unclean feel. The bath had a shower extension but no holder, so taking a shower was virtually impossible.

Buffet breakfast better than anticipated. Choice of 2 cereals, good bread, croissants, ham and salami. Good camembert. Hot water for tea. Bed was comfortable enough, though not king size.
