We stayed at the resort for a week. The owner and staff are wonderful. The place is amazing and allows you to be calm and peaceful along with being close to the city center.

This place is beautiful, welcoming, convenient - very special: please don't tell anyone! We loved our two night stay: arriving by train from Carcassonne, an easy walk from the station. Convenient for all the cultural, historical and tourist aspects of central Nimes; but ... ... it was simply so delightful to have a slow late breakfast, enjoy the cool of the garden, sit listening to the birds; or ending the day with a well-chosen 'glass' in front of the log fire. We look forward to returning!

Everything about this accommodation was 'exceptional'. The most beautiful Property and the rooms simply gorgeous and luxurious. Beautiful, clean, very comfortable beds with the best linens and towels. The staff all were so kind, welcoming, friendly and so helpful with making dinner suggestions and reservations for us. The location was wonderful - so close to the 'Central Ville'. I truly felt like 'Royalty' staying here!!

Inspiring setting, like an old plantation house, a green oasis in an unexpected location. The staff and owners were extremely helpful and pleasant totals to, and we're looking after all of our needs.

A truly exceptional hotel. Needless to say that the decor is one of a kind. Hard to believe when actually being there that this is a hotel and not a museum. But besides the splendor of the place, the staff was exceptionally helpful and professional. With ample experiences in "5 star hotels", I am not one to easily give such a glowing review, but this place truly deserves it.

My partner felt that it could have done with a proper shower but for a short stay I felt the bath was more than adequate with its hand held shower.

It really was a calm oasis in the middle of the city. It was a little slice of the decadent past. A beautiful shady mature garden. Exceptional service. Staff were so helpful and polite. The breakfast was sumptuous; fresh fruits, breads and pastries with delicious home-made preserves served so beautifully. The house is full of lovely antiques and bedroom was charming with the most comfortable bed and pillows.

Incidentals - drinks etc - were pricey. €10 for a beer! And not replenishing the bottle of water in the room each day in 37C? A bit too mean for a high end place.

Fantastic location for a visit to the main attractions in Nimes & very helpful hotel staff. Beautiful, calm garden and courtyard. Fun to stay in an interesting place.

Nothing except room were a bit dark however it added to the ambience. No dislikes at all.

Friendly staff. Welcoming. We arrived early so while room (upgraded) was being prepared she added a log to the fire. Hotel is beautiful with something new to see in every area and on every wall. Bit cold but wonderful gardens and terrace. Room was large with a very comfortable bed. Simple nice breakfast. 5 minute walk to train station and 10 to old town area. We would come back if we return to Nimes and recommend it to others.

Everything, it is an exceptional place, hidden paradise. Looks like a time travel into the glorious and romantic France. The entire place combine historical architecture, bohemian garden and the charm of the south. The service was without any flaw, you feel like you are at home. I can mention that my wife forgot a piece of close when we left and they kindly send it to us by mail. I will make this trip an annual venue Thanks Victoria and the team ++
