The room had a strange smell whci I could not detect.

The staff was VERY helpful and courteous. I appreciated the help they gave me to sort out my problems. Thank you. The rooms were comfortqble: bedding, bathroom and facilities. Very good breakfast which needs more time to appreciate it. A large variety of food and beverages.

We were surprised that they do not have a lift/elevator though the building is newer by european standards. In our mid 60's it made it difficult to haul our 25 kilo bags up the stairs. The rooms are minimalistic and a bit expensive at $85 per night.

This is a Basic type of Hotel/Motel. It is clean and there is a small restaurant on the ground floor. When you first walk in you think your in a restaurant/bar however you are also at the hotel reception desk as well! They have beer and wine served after hours which is convenient for the business traveler.

The breakfast was adequate for a chain hotel but the man on reception was offhand and unhelpful. There was cereal but no spoons or milk. There was only one piece of bread and when we asked for more he made it a big deal. The hot food had all gone and wasn’t replaced.

By the time we got to the breakfast area (8:00 am - while breakfast was still being served until 9:00), all warm food was already long gone and was not refilled. No sausages/eggs/fresh vegetables (besides sundried tomatoes). There was a selection of cold meats, cheese, jam & other sweet spreads available (and also some baguettes). Nothing fancy, passable (but a bit disappointing, considering price). Coffee was not tasty at all. Room was basic and seemed clean, but had a weird scent to it. Old corridor smelled even worse. Meh.

Because of rugby world cup match happening in the city, most of other sleeping options were sold out - we stayed at this place, as it was one of the cheapest (still at over $100 a night). Bus stop from the airport is a few minutes walk, along the road, from the hotel. Check-in was smooth, room was quiet (view to quite empty parking lot). There were all basic utilities provided (towels, soap, internet), and also TV and breakfast in the morning.

I booked 3 rooms - 1 room wasn’t cleaned on our arrival. Another room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned; there was brown splatter on the bathroom door and near the sink.

No restaurants were open on a Tuesday for dinner. I walked for over 3km and no luck, all closed. Only kebab and fast food places open.

Fan heater not working, so it was quite cold in the room. They didn't offer shampoo; in the shampoo holder was the same soap for hands.

The beds and pillows verry comfortable. Staff verry polite and helpful. Located near a lot of stores.

Room had the mildew smell. Bathroom/shower is a combined doorless style - water appears to have leaked under the door to the room carpet. Carpet was damp when I entered.

We booked online and provided all card details , it said online one price and when we arrived it was more then expected.The cleanliness and the smell of the bathroom and the towels wasn't clean . We did say to the member of staff that the room wasn't very clean and personally i thing a little refund or a gesture would have been something.

Parking in front of the hotel,the staff was friendly and knowing their job .

We have been put in their staff bedroom, which looked to be from the 90s. Wasn't what we had booked. Really warm and did not have an airco. Walls and ceiling dirty. Bath, but no shower where one could stand. 3rd floor (1 floor higher then all other rooms) - which is no fun with a 20kg bag. We booked our room more than a month ago. The hotel was clearly overbooked and they should have told us well in advance. Hotel further refused compensation, other than a beer, which they then later said we hadn't paid and therefor they would not refund our payment. Avoid if you can, as you may also end up in this uncomfortable room and the management does not care.

Location not to far away from LYS airport, where we needed to be for a 7am departure.
