Terrible bed linen, apparently not washed properly and with traces of detergent left. It was sticky and we had a unpleasant feeling when touching it. The night was ruined. The property needs renovation. The house is relatively close to the main sights but to get there you have to walk across a ramshackeld street off the beautifully renovated key area surrounded by a nice circular boulvard. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel - totally overpriced and it is a very bad value for the money paid.

We realise that transformation/transformation are ongoing to convert an old hotel into something modern and comfortable. However, the fact that we could not turn off the heating unit was most disturbing since it continuously noisy all night and therefore prevented us from sleeping most of the night. We are regular Kyriad customers and this hotel did not meet the usual Kyriad standards.

Secure parking and well positioning of hotel close to old town, Arena and restaurants. Breakfast was up to expectation. All staff was friendly and helpful.

Rather old, small room & bathroom. Towels were quite old and frayed. Overall, Kyriad hotels are good value, in old buildings, but very clean. The Kyriad in Avignon was better than Nimmes and a much better breakfast.

The smoke smell in the room was terrible, so we asked for an other room. In the new one, the smell was similar! Many lamps had not working bulbs, one desktop lamp was totally destroyed with exposed wires. The shower box was ridiculously fixed with a curtain and t was impossible to keep the bathroom dry wile taking a shower.

It is near the centre and many restaurants, easily reachable by taxi from the touristic airport, quite cheap.

The prices were increased because there was a rock band playing at The Arena. I know that traditional French Hotels are small and we get that. However this hotel was small, the lift was not working, we were on the third floor. The decor and maintenance of the room/facilities can only be described as decrepid - probably the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Don't understand how it can be 3 stars and 8.2 on Booking.com rating, suggest you look at this. Staff were competent and pleasant. Reception was dirty, no bar, we chose not to have breakfast as it looked totally unappetising. When booking the dates we had to make an adjustment but the system would not let us do that online, we had to phone Booking.com, even then it took a few attempts. The room was not ready, so no Genius benefit, no Genius free drink on arrival. Overall not impressed wit Hotel and Booking.com

    Location, you walk to everything.

The toilet when you sit & stand up makes a noice as it is loose, The shower had no door but a shower curtain was installed, do not like shower curtains at all, shower had no shelve to put your shampoo & soap containers, when you bend to pickup the container you bump the tap & the water close. Bathroom space especially the shower space is really a problem, just to small

no clear signage that guests have access to the hotel although the street was closed due to major roadworks within the city. The garage is a horror for parking and expensive: 12 Euros per day. the shower is missing a curtain or a screen. Why have the taxes not been included in the price like all ibis-Hotels do?

My room was 34 and it was boxed in at the end of a corridor with 2 other rooms. Other guests were in and out of the other rooms and the doors were being allowed to bang shut on numerous occasions, late into the night.

Perfect for my 2 night stay in Nimes as a solo traveller. 3rd floor room, discounted and excellent value. Comfy bed with crisp cotton bedding. Small, very clean en suite perfect for one. Friendly welcome on arrival and able to check in early. Staff not intrusive yet helpful when asked (my ideal). Great location - a 10 minute walk from the train station, quiet street & within easy walking of main attractions. I was lucky to have a lovely view of traditional French buildings. Could have happily stayed longer.

We had two twin rooms, both of which were pretty worn out, the beds uncomfortable, the carpet old, dim lighting. One of the rooms had a very damp smell. There was no rack for hanging the towels in the bathroom. We can only speak, though, for the rooms we had (maybe others are better, don't know).
