Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The spiral staircase leading up to the flat was difficult to climb especially with luggage. The owner did say in her email just before we departed that it was not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Whilst we are both in our late 70s we are both fit so didn't expect this to be a problem and by then it was too late to cancel anyway! We managed it but I feel a mention in the description would be very helpful. Also the step down from the TV room to the bathroom was hazardous in the dark!
The location was excellent and the private parking a real benefit. The flat was spacious and well equipped

The apartment is extremely spacious with two sitting rooms, a good size bedroom and well-equipped kitchen, although we never used the kitchen as there are so many great restaurants, nearby. It is in the heart of Honfleur in an old timbered building, but once you step inside, it is modern and extremely well decorated like out of a magazine. People should be aware that you do have to go up steep spiral stairs to get to the apartment should mobility be an issue. The apartment comes with a parking space nearby, which is very convenient helpful. Tip: park your car first and then walk to the apartment as there is no place to pull over in front of the apartment. As soon as we booked the apartment, Sylvie sent us a list of restaurants and bakeries and other helpful things, which was very appreciated. We ended up having one of the best meals of our lives in Honfleur.

This apartment is adorable! It was in a great location and the free parking nearby was an added bonus. The communication regarding check-in and throughout our stay was excellent. The bed was super comfortable, and there was plenty of room for us to spread out. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a more "local" feeling experience for their stay in Honfleur.

One tiny thing: a little more hanging space for clothes and coats would be nice...maybe some hooks on the backs of doors? :-)

The only improvement, given the heat and lack of airflow outside, would be to have a pedestal fan available.
The location was perfect, in the heart of the old town and two steps from the port and the famous cathedral. The availability of reserved parking nearby was a massive plus if you are travelling by car. The arrival and departure were very well organised thanks to Nathalie.

Everything was perfect!
A beautiful apartment, exquisitely decorated creating a wonderful ambience! Very comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Great location with a dedicated parking space close by. Both the host, Sylvie, and the service personnel, Nathalie were very friendly and responsive smd also provided great recommendation fir restaurants etc. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay!!

The staircase could be difficult for someone with mobility issues; but in general you just need to take care and it's fine. The Nespresso machine did not work, neither did the television. On two successive evenings the hot water ran out and was not available again until the following morning. If possible, it would be advisable to go to the parking place first given the narrow one-way streets that have to be negotiated to get back to it from the property. Loading and unloading the car in the street in front of the property can be problematic, though that would be the case for most places in central Honfleur.
Comfortable property, well equipped. Quite spacious with three separate rooms and the heating works well.

Our stay was fantastic! The flat was exactly as in the pictures, it was warm and cozy and equipped with all you need to enjoy yourself, plus the location is just perfect! . The communication with the owner was flawless and very friendly. Will definitively stay there once again, this is a gem!
