You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

CanadaNice hostess, clean and newly renovated room, tasty breakfast. The room does not have heating. In the city where we live in Canada, there is central heating in every house, so indoor heating is important to us. Luckily it is only 7 or 8 degree C at night in September here, the room is warm enough after the hostess' husband telling us to turn on the towel warmer in the bathroom and keep the bathroom door open throughout the night.

United KingdomA warm and considerate reception. We travelled by bike and host offered to take us into the village when we arrived. A lovely spacious location in the woods. Great bedroom and breakfast facilities and an ample breakfast to send us on our way!

FranceFrom my perspective and on this single visit there is nothing that I consider worthy of mentioning in this section. Everything was perfect for me and exactly as described online ahead of my stay.
Fresh, tasty and complete the breakfast was perfect. Set in beautiful surroundings too which keeps one feeling relaxed and within nature. Coffee was fresh and I suspect the yoghurt was homemade. Choice of croissants, bread and conserves. Thoughtfully, there were local offerings too if you wanted. My room was superb as were the modern, spotless and understated facilities. The host was very attentive, on top of every detail and offering to take me into the town restaurants for the evening. It is indeed a most relaxing little house in the woods. It was a pleasure staying at the 'little house in the woods'. Thank you so very much for accepting my booking to stay.
