We loved our quirky, individually designed rooms! Both the rooms we booked were very spacious and very comfortable - beautifully decorated. Breakfast was a proper feast - and delicious. The sunny courtyard and secure car parking a major bonus. Our host was very friendly and very helpful. We would love to return!

The size of the room was more like an appartment. It was very comfortable and the decor was rustic but very well done. The garden was beautiful and obviously well tended. Very friendly and very helpful staff.

we had very little to complain about!

the property was a few minutes walk from the old port, very close to shops and restaurants and to the lovely market on Saturday. it was a very peaceful location. we had an enormous room with a spacious en suite and our own living room as well, with a table for our generous and delicious breakfast. also plenty of tables and chairs in the courtyard. we arrived following a serious car accident coming from the ferry. We were given such a charming and sympathetic welcome, and as it was quite late as we were kept at the local hospital for some hours we were provided with a very welcome light supper of bread, cheese and fruit. we were also given assistance with taxis etc during our stay.

Everything was wonderful! Amazing spacious and beautiful room(s), perfect breakfast and the location was good as well. Very close to the center of Honfleur. But what stands out most was the kindness and attentiveness of the host. I can't recommend a L'ecole Buissonniere enough. Thank you!

To have a couple of windows fitted with mosquito screens so you could leave the windows open at night would be helpful.

one serious matter was the there was a double booking and we had to leave the property a day early. although the owner made every effort to make the transition to another flat easy it was a big disruption and we would rather have stayed in the original apartment that we booked. this was not good.

Hosts were very warm and generous. Showed us around the room, gave us a map of the area, and recommended a restaurant for dinner. The facilities are newly updated and include everything you could need to be comfortable. The room itself was very spacious and included a beautiful wood paneled dining room, sky lights, high quality bedding, a bath tub and shower, and more. Breakfast was served in our room and was delicious. It was very affordable for the value. Access to the garden and a parking spot was very nice as well! Thank you so much for having us!

A handrail in the shower with somewhere to put soap/shampoo. It’s a lovely big shower but for people not so confident on a wet surface a handle would be helpful.
