No air conditioning. Location of washing machine was confusing (toilet not bathroom as stated), washing machine capsules and dishwasher tablets were in unlabelled containers. The tone of advisory messages was a little abrupt.

As with most older buildings in central locations there was no aircon so it was uncomfortably warm when the days exceeded 30C. There was a fan and the windows opened but at night the windows had to be closed as the street noise was loud - going as late as 2am some nights. The key collection process was onerous and the levels of security to pass exceptional and so in total added about 25-30 minutes to our arrival time before we were actually inside the apartment.

This apartment was very well located, secure, spacious, spotlessly clean and well appointed.

Well located, close to a major metro station. Ideal for a couple, with all the amenities one might need. The owner/agent responded immediately when we mistakenly thought the washing machine didn’t work.

Picking up of keys was not as expected- we were told that someone would be at the property to meet us, this did not happen. When we messaged we were then told to go and fetch the key from the agency - it was a fair distance and uphill considering we had luggage and are in our mid-sixties. We had already been travelling across France prior to reaching Lyon. I think so came to check up on us before sending the instructions to pick up the keys. It would have been more civilised for them to meet and greet us.

During the middle of our stay, the elevator was out of order for a few days which made climbing the 5 flights of stairs with bags challenging. But the owners did what they could and contacted building management quickly. Otherwise, no complaints!

Location was perfect! It is between both rivers so everything was easy to get to by walking or bike. The apartment was clean, cozy, and provided all essentials. The kitchen was well-equipped and bed was comfortable. Great response from owners as well when we had questions.

The entrance area outside was quite dirty and unfortunately there were quite shady characters around there at times. It felt a bit unsafe. The people who lived in the apartment were very nice and friendly. It was sometimes hard to sleep as the noise from the cafes and bars outside was quite loud at times especially on weekends.

The location was very central. The apartment athough small was comfortable and well equipped and everything worked well. Check in was smooth. The apartment had a lift which was great.

Only a small detail—the corridor leading to the apartment was a bit dirty.

It was very well furnished. Linens and towels were of high quality. There were detailed instructions and even videos on how to operate the appliances. We were met upon arrival by Quentin who gave us a walkthrough.

The location was fantastic and in a safe area. So much to see within walking distance of our apartment. The size of the apartment and that there was an elevator.

The apartment was clean and spacious. We were centrally located, with Metro right outside our door. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, which helped with dinner planning. I would highly recommend it if you stay one day or one week. I will stay here again when I next visit Lyon.

-location is just perfect. Metro A line 20m from apartament. Within 5min walk plenty of good restaurants - apartament was equipped with everything you may need ( hairdryer, oven, washing machine etc) - old building but with elevator - apartment was quiet however in summer with windows open you can probably hear some noise from restaurants nearby (apartament is on 5th floor)

Very clean, well decorated and comfortable apartment in a prime location. Could walk everywhere! Really appreciated the owner's personal and friendly welcome on arrival. He was easy to work with, very responsive and flexible. Excellent host!
