Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomAlthough the restaurant was a good standard of “fine dining” they need to accommodate for families staying longer periods with a more “brasserie style” not everyone wants a foie gras starter or a salt baked bass for two weeks as nice as it maybe, the chefs ego needs to be more focused on the people paying to stay and eat there not his accolade achievements
Superb fresh seasonal buffet something for everyone, exceptional coffee

United States of AmericaThe bathroom has a small top glass window overlooking the room and takes out a bit of privacy. The hotel had some minor maintenance issues, like peeling paint and some marks on the walls in the hallway or ceilings outdoors. Pool did not seem so clean, had some wall marks with mold, and strong chlorine smell.
Great comfortable rooms, for families they offer connecting rooms. Service was excellent! Breakfast looked great!

The hotel was at a very low occupancy on the night we stayed . It was very quiet (a bonus for us!). The pool and the garden were well maintained. Room was OK. On-site restaurant was one of the reasons we chose this place. Dinner was amazing! food, wine, atmosphere, and service were not less then perfect (and we didn't have to drive anywhere afterwards). Thank you!

United KingdomThe wardrobe was not very large or easy to access due to sliding doors
Food is fabulous. The hotel is a peaceful haven (we went at Easter). The service was very good. They couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. There are sculptures and other works of art throughout the hotel and gardens. We had a wonderful massage in the spa. The outdoor pool looks lovely but we didn’t swim. Our room has a balcony overlooking the gardens which was perfect for a relaxing stay. The sun was on our balcony in the morning. Perfect start to the day. A car is useful as it’s a fair stride or bike ride to St Paul de Vence - but worth it.

United Kingdomnothing much.. this is a nicely executed, reasonably priced 4 star hotel set in the hills of the french riviera half an hour above Antibes by car. Just so the reader is aware tho, this hotel is set in the hills and not in any of the towns or villages, so it is not easy walking distance to say, picturesce St. Paul de Vence, etc, but all those places are only moments away by car.
I like this hotel.. i've stayed here before and it is an enjoyable reasonably priced place to spend a few days in the hills of St Paul while exploring the area. Opt for a room w balcony / terrace tho, as the ground floor ones without might be described as a bit gloomy in comparison. Our room was bright, clean, modern, comfortable bedding, sufficiently spacious with a good size balcony with view. Bathroom is modern / functional and the hotel lobby area has kind of a mid century modern futuristic vibe, which is kind of cool. There is a great restaurant on site (dine on terrace) as well. You need a car for this place and there is plenty of parking in the hotel's gated parking lot

Belgiumnoise isolation from other rooms is ok but could be better for a 4-star - noisy neighbors can be heard
The main reception lady is really top: around 5PM we wanted to go to Saint Paul de Vence and she very kindly proposed to takes us in her car as she was driving that way! She lives there and know every spot in the neighborhood including the nices restaurants in Saint Paul (which she reserves for you) and the nices spots in Nice or Antibes. The restaurant is really superb! We had the opportunity to visit some 1 and 2 star michelin restaurants recently, and we really think that this restaurant deserves to get the star they are aiming at since a couple of years!

NetherlandsLocation also because you need a car to decent a 18% hill every day to get somewhere. However the biggest problem was the very very poor cleaning and maintenance of the bedroom. It has not been cleaned, bedroom and bathroom, in 7 days. There were hairs next to the toilet when we arrived and they where still there when we left. The bedroom has not been vacuum cleaned for a week either. Very nasty because we walk barefooted there. When we complained at check out the lady claimed that the carpet will be replaced soon and that’s why they didn’t clean it anymore. Load of bullocks. For whatever reason the staff left a vacuum cleaner outside in the hallway many days. May be thought we would do it ourselves? This would be a reason for us not to come back again.
Nice modern and relaxed hotel. Friendly staff. Located in beautiful surroundings. Oké breakfast but bit overpriced for the offer. When we stay in 4-5 star hotels we pay a bit more but offer is much larger.

BelgiumWe recently stayed at this hotel, and our experience left much to be desired. The infrastructure felt outdated, charmless and clinical, giving off the impression that it was designed exclusively for senior citizens. The sonorisation of the room was abysmal, making it difficult to rest peacefully. To top it off, there were security concerns with personal items mysteriously going missing, only to be miraculously found back after filing a complaint. We also woke up with the door suddenly open. The cleaning service was also questionable, the room was dirty to begin with (killed insects everywhere) and the cleaning lady left the window-door open at the ground floor (so accessible for everyone to enter the room). The pool shows nice on pictures but does not meet expectations, has no shower and no nearby restroom (without having to pass in swimwear next to the reception). The overall lack of professionalism from the staff was disappointing.
