Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe staff were very accommodating but not overly knowledgeable. Room was abit dusty. Overall was clean.
Perfect location for Moulin Rouge, Monmartre, Restaurants and bars. Also very close to various Metro stations making it the best place to base yourself.

AustraliaOnly had a few minor issues. The front door setup was weird. You had to get buzzed in every time due to the check-in desk being on the 2nd floor. The bathroom sink was stupid. The plug cover only plugged the drain, so you had to lift it out, and the tap lined up with the drain hole so nothing got washed down the sink unless you splashed water around with your hand which just sent water flinging everywhere. Wanted to book for a week, but when I booked, they only had 4 nights available for the first half of my trip, and i would have to book the last two nights separately at a massive nightly cost. I ended up booking another hotel for the last few nights. Wasn't until we moved hotels that I checked, and they had the last two nights available at a lower price, like when I first tried to book the whole stay. Rather frustrating that we could have avoided moving hotels if they didn't block Saturday nights from being booked in longer booking requests. One last thing for travellers that was hard to get used to; We just refused room service every day of our stay after hearing whoever was doing housekeeping, going room to room, hocking up phlegm loud enough to make me want to vomit! This happened like clock work. Every day, new room, big hocking sound, repeat. Honestly, it had me wondering if they were spitting in the cups to get back at the guests. Lots of people did it out and about, but my God, it was off-putting when you're having a lie-in and just enjoying your holiday in beautiful Paris, and then the phlegm sound starts...
Good sized room, window to watch street, lift access, big shower, comfortable bed, mini fridge with drinks, safe. Was convenient to train, restaurants, and shopping.

United States of AmericaThe area is in the heart of Montmartre and very touristy and busy. While the hotel is wonderful, we probably wouldn't pick this location again. However, it's very easy to get everywhere in Paris as the metro is just outside the door of the hotel.
This was an adorable hotel with the sweetest staff that went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and happy. Even letting us check in a little early after a day of wandering around. It was comfortable, and despite the busy area, pretty quiet.

United KingdomNoise from street when windows were open but this is minor as we could have had the window closed with air con on.
Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Clean, large room overlooking the main street. Breakfast good for the price and well topped up. Excellent location in centre of Montmartre. Felt safe walking out in the evening despite being female and with a child. Metro 1 minute walk from hotel and lots of brasseries and bars within 5 mins walk too.

United KingdomProximity to the moulin rouge which was the reason for our trip was excellent. One of the rooms had a balcony with a view of the Eiffel Tower priceless. The room was clean and comfortable with mini bar, tea/coffee and bottled water, slippers and robes were also included. At the end of a busy day and evening fell into a comfortable bed and had a great nights sleep followed by good breakfast ready for the start of another busy day. We had two rooms that were opposite each other which made things so much easier.

United KingdomArea was lively, but safe & good links to the centre. Within walking distance to Sacre Coeur & Montmartre (uphill). Twin room was a good size, beds were comfy and bathroom was great. Breakfast was pretty standard but adequate. Overall, it was very clean. Quirky little hotel squashed between a strip club & Cafe le Chat Noir.

United KingdomWhile the dark decor is a great nod to the old Le Chat Noir venue, it does highlight how getting old affects your eyesight! I found it a bit dark trying to get ready.
Great view of the Eiffel Tower and Paris rooftops from our little balcony (which we had requested - thank you!) Really good location - walk to Montmartre one way and to south Pigalle the other, so loads of local restaurants, cafes/bakeries and bars - plus choice of metro stations/ lines for all around the city. Buzzing, lively area but not disturbed by noise at all in our high floor room - felt warm and cosy even with wild winds and rain outside.

United States of AmericaPARKING! parking was very inconvenient! I did finally find a spot on the street but otherwise we had to park blocks away and still pay for it.
We did not spend much time at the hotel because we were always out and about. But as we came and went the staff was always happy to see us. We had a wonderful time.

United KingdomThe room was adequate. It felt small with very little storage space, so only really good for a couple nights, we stayed 5 nights and had very little room for luggage. The room was also very dusty even though it was cleaned daily, a layer of dust settled every night on the side tables.
Location was perfectly central and very close to 3 Metro stations, Monmatre and Sacre Couer. Many amenities nearby. Don’t be put off by the Adult shops on the main road. We felt very safe walking around at nighttime. Our room was on the top floor and we had a small balcony with a view of the Eiffel Tower.

United KingdomWhen we booked we asked for a twin and received a double. When asked about turning it to a twin we were told that it wasn’t in our booking notes. I pulled up the booking that said we booked two single beds. It seems there is a disconnect between the booking system and the hotel. So my friend stayed in the double bed and I slept on the day bed. It was very comfortable but a little surprised that it wasn’t rectified the following day.
Beds were very comfortable and the location was fantastic.
