Beautiful country house turned into a gem for staying, very clean and nicely furnished. No main roads nearby guaranteed us quiet nights and fresh air. In the morning a fresh bread and croissants from local bakery, home made jams and local honey, beautiful serving!

We loved everything!

We loved everything about it. The owner was really lovely and so helpful. She recommended a couple of places to eat and when she found out that one was closed she came to tell us and kindly booked a wonderful alternative. The accommodation was beautiful and exceptionally clean with great facilities. We all loved the swimming pool which we had to ourselves. Much needed after a day of driving in the heat! Parking was very secure in their garage. We had a lovely breakfast the following day. We all wished we could have stayed more than just one night but we will hopefully visit again!

A beautiful, immaculately clean, very karge bedroom with a view over the pool. Very comfortable bed. Good shower. Stunning swimming pool and countryside views. Very good breakfast. Our host was extremely kind, going out of her way to arrange a doctor's appointment for my husband. Exceptional value for money.

overnight visit on a motorcycle tour. owner allowed us to park in his secure garage. small quiet Hamlet. very large clean comfortable room. lounge and dining area downstairs also fridge, kettle, microwave and cooker. small supermarket in adjacent village 5 mins drive away. owner spoke some English. owner has delicious local honey for sale.

Great situation right on the canal and as my daughter and I were biking the canal it was a perfect stop. Lovely very stylish interior with large bedrooms and perfect swimming pool in which to relax. Delicious breakfast.

Everything was out of this world

The location and setting is truly amazing, the rooms are exceptionally comfortable, bright and welcoming. The private dining setting for breakfast made us feel like we were in our own home. The host is very friendly and helpful and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The private garage was a safe place to park our motorcycles overnight. The small bistro by the canal is only about 100m away from the hotel and provided local artisan dining, with home made lemonade and specialty wines.

Amazing! What a great find. Behind the walls and gate is a hidden paradise. Great location and a superb room. If you book, make sure you get the 'room with a view' over the swimmingpool and panorama landscape. Hosts are fantastic, friendly and cater to your needs. Merci, merci!

Would like kettle in own room. I didn't realise that payment was cash only on departure which caused some awkwardness. Bicycle left in yard - would prefer under cover storage.

large room - good shower. Great location directly on the canal and just a 1 minute walk to a restaurant. Lovely breakfast with fresh bread, croissant and yoghurt. Pool area looks lovely but sadly weather didn't permit!

There is no air conditioning. This is summer. There is a small a fan which doesn't give enough air circulation the whole night was hot 🔥 and we couldn't sleep . Otherwise everything was okay

Stunning villa with a beautiful courtyard pool. Our room was amazing — super comfy bed, lovely bathroom with a spacious shower, and his-and-her sinks were a great touch. The host was very helpful and served a lovely breakfast. Highly recommend!
