Truely there is nothing we did not like about this property. Other than having to leave.

Loved absolutely everything about the property and our stay. Sophie and Bruno are exceptional hosts and made us feel so welcome. The attention to detail in our room was second to none and the decor beautiful. Also appreciated the access to the fridge and thoughtfully supplied toiletries for any forgotten items on a trip. A true home from home.. but better.! Overall Location, facilities and our room were perfect. Great breakfast too, made even better with the views of the surrounding mountains. Our trip was via motorcycle and the parking is very secure. Sophie and Bruno had some great biking advice for our trip too. Thanks to you both ❤️ We would love to come back

Unlucky to have a canicule (heat wave) without A/C, but it did cool off eventually.

Wonderful and charming hosts, always attentive and helpful. The breakfast a real treat. Love the potager garden with laying hens.

Beautifully restored old house with facilities way beyond what you would expect from a 4 bed B&B. Lovely owners, Sophie and Bruno, couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly. Their breakfasts and the one evening meal they provided (for a small fee) were very French and very tasty.

Nothing, we loved this place.

This place is an absolute gem! We are so glad we found it and although we only stayed for one night during our road trip, we would happily have stayed for longer. Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly. The property is beautiful and well kept with access to some great facilities including pool, sauna and steam room. Our room was comfortable and with lovely decor. The breakfast spread was wonderful!

Nothing. Everything was great. The only thing I would say is that La Chambre itself doesn't have much in the way of places to eat - we drove to St Jean de Maurienne, where there are a good number of restaurants. (However Bruno and Sophie do offer the option of an evening meal if you prefer.)

We spent five nights at the Clos Grillet. It is the perfect location for a cycling trip in the Alps. Sophie and Bruno were great hosts - nothing was too much trouble. Bruno even helped us to mend one of our bikes! As a cycling destination, there is secure storage for bikes in a garage and e-bikes can be recharged overnight. And breakfast was very, very good indeed with bread and croissants fresh from the boulangerie, eggs from the resident chickens and tomatoes fresh from the garden.

We had a lovely stay at Les Clos Grillet! We went by bicycle doing the route the grandes alpes and we couldn´t imagine a better place for the night to re-charge for the next stage. Great people and a really nice breakfast. Even clothes for bathing have been borrowed to us to be able to do a swim at the pool.

Absolutely beautiful!! EVERYTHING was amazing! The host was so hospitable! If you have a Gluten Free allergy stay here! She cooked bread and a pudding for me delicious!! Highly recommend! Rooms were stunning!
