The gardens around the houses could be a little better maintained. And, not the hotel's fault, but watch out for the limited hours of the local Intermarche supermarket (5 mins drive away) - we were caught out by it closing at 1900 each evening.

Impressed with the size of the 2-bedroom apartment: in fact a decent-sized end-of-terrace house in a smart development of 20 or so alongside the smartly presented main hotel. Well-equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge and bedroom, and two bathrooms! Very good value for money, and whilst the drive up the hill from town is a little complex, the walk down the steep steps is straightforward.

The shortcut to the village was down a very steep hill with rustic steps and no handrail. The walk down the road was better but a very steep climb coming back up. The hotel lacked any sort of atmosphere. After dinner we would have liked a drink in the bar but it was all locked up and no staff were there at 9pm.

It was good value for money and the staff were very helpful. Food was very good although breakfast a little limited

No WiFi at our room at all, signal is to bad and room could use a upgrade. (Old) Carpeting on the floor and we could smell neighbors smoking at their own room inside our room. Looks like this smoke/smell comes in by ventilation system.

No WiFi connection at the swimming pool. The terrasse was very small. Too small to be useable and no privacy. Maybe a clothes horse would have been very useful.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The apartment was very clean and tidy and contained everything we needed (except for a clothes horse). The location was magnificent. The property felt very secure.

Very nice hotel, which is walking distance from the lovely center of Pont-Aven village , although it is connected by stairs (going by car is an alternative but parking in the center is difficult). The structure is modern and functional but well integrated in the countryside. Our room was big enough and with all the necessary amenities. Staff very friendly

The door locks were impossible. We went out to dinner and returned in the dark and could not unlock our door. We both tried many many times for maybe 15-20 minutes. What do do? I went to the main reception area that was totally closed. Finally saw a note on the door that was is total blackness that gave a phone number. If I hadn't had my phone light with me I would never have seen it; bad positioning of sign! Two women came along and said they had had the same problem and they tried to help and they got the door open. Then they couldn't open theirs and they took a long time to open their door. Then the second night it happened again. We finally worked through it. The locks are electronic and very very difficult to use. Also, we were told we had air-conditioning and it was not working and we were told it was broken. The temperature was in the high 80s and no a/c and the window had n screens. Did not stay for breakfast because it did not look at all tempting. All in all, did not care for our stay. The pool was indoors and also not tempting for high 80s temperature.

Difficult to find. No one to check us in on Sunday. Breakfast only available from 9.00am. Accommodation very utilitarian and settee uncomfortable. The gardens were overgrown and unkempt. Bedroom too small for the bed. I kept hitting my head on the eves.

Reception is not manned 24/7. There was nobody to do the check out so we just left our keys on top of the reception desk. Another couple has been waiting there for several minutes too and looked really pissed; Airconditioning is not working which made our stay uncomfortable; Layout of the room - It’s a Studio but the main bedroom is actually separated from the single bed and the small lounge area with bathroom so it’s kinda like a 1br small apartment. What I didn’t like is they put the kitchenette in the same room as the main bedroom and the kitchen appliances like coffeemaker and kettle are put right beside the tiny sink so they end up getting wet all the time whenever I wash something on the sink, when they could have easily put them on top of the cabinet with all the kitchenware inside. They could have also mount the TV on the wall and put the kettle, toaster and coffee maker on top of the cabinet where they put the TV; More pillows should have been put on the bed, at least two per person; and No iron and ironing board.

Location - which is very close to the center and the beach is just 10mins away; Kitchenette and kitchenware in the room. There’s even a dishwasher. They also provided the pods for the dishwasher and sponge for the sink; High Chair in the room for my toddler; Indoor swimming pool; Cleaning materials like vacuum cleaner in the room; Heated wall mount dryer in the bathroom which we used a lot coz we went to the beach twice; and Spacious Room

To the Management You have a real problem. You need more staff, more competencies. W-LAN, … You have a location in a 4**** standard and a service like in a youth hostel (or less). Close it and start again. Or change the business (e.g. Crêperie?)

although advertised with free Wi-Fi in all places this is NOT true. could not get Wi-Fi in bedroom at all. The walk to town and back is not a possibility unless you are very fit. This meant one has to drive and then find a car space - impossible !

The apartment was ok, although very slightly unwelcoming with all brown colours and metal doors. The outside space could have been more inviting a with grass cut and furniture cleaner. The front of the apartment was full of weeds and in need of some attention…. Some flowers would be a nice touch

We asked for a room with outside space and ended up with an apartment. It was spacious and clean inside with secure entrance gates. Close to Pont Aven town down some steep steps
