The location is in a commercial district and looked a little dodgy, nothing untoward occurred but we chose not to venture out.

Parking was very difficult due to a combination of one way streets, pedestrianisation and roads closed due to road works. The receptionist was extremely helpful as it took me about 15 mins to find my way back to the parking, we had passed the entrance on a one way street.

    Breakfast was a bit pricey.

The receptionist was very nice and helpful, and the hotel security to doors and floors was good. Got back late and cold both nights and opened the door to a lovely warm room.

Hotel Difficult to find. The fact that you have to find a different location/building to collect your key is a little odd and off putting. Lack of connection with staff

Hotel itself great, clean, central, staff pleasant and helpful. Breakfast great, restaurant attached excellent.

Parking not on site but not a major issue.

Friendly and helpful reception staff. On site restaurant very convenient. Food was good and staff exceptionally friendly. Hotel was very convenient for town centre and shops.

The check in process was a little bit bizarre and the lady at the reception was very nice and polite, but did not appear to understand some basic points, like the need to make a copy of an ID card. She also did not understand basic terms, like "checkout". This was not so important, but be prepared. A more important issue was my room, which looked out in the internal courtyard. It was impossible to open the windows because the exhaust systems from the kitchen were two floors below, and full of cooking smells.

The hotel is located in a converted, older building, and still has many of the architectural elements from that time. My room was large, with a separate WC and separate bathroom due to the old French architecture. The hotel restaurant is a Brasserie, with good, solid food at a competitive price. The Brasserie staff is very friendly and I was glad to see them taking very good and attentive care of older customers who were there. There is a strong wifi connection on the ground floor. Overall, very good value for money. A safe and reliable place to stay.

difficult location to find when arriving by car.Had to leave the car and walk to ask people. The hotel entrance is hidden in a corner. service in the bistro/cafe was slow. Had to wait a while to be served 'though there was only very few customers.View from room was service area of restaurant , not attractive.

convenient location for walking / shopping in the town. Nice breakfast and good ,friendly service.

We were travelling through having arrived from La Rochelle. Our stop was just for the night before heading home. The hotel was in a good location, check in was easy and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Difficult to find the hotel. Directions old have been better. The loo lock in our bedroom was very faulty and could, potentially, be quite dangerous

Good welcome and good location. A great bedroom.

Breakfast a bit pricey. Room smelled a bit of old carpet. Smallish bathroom.

In the centre, by shopping streets and the small old city. Nice and quiet most of the time. Pleasant staff.
