No major complaints. Some paper towels and soap in the shower would have been nice.

The gîte was lovely. Very clean. Nicely decorated. This would be great for a small family. There’s a high chair, an (older style) crib, and a stroller. The hosts were pleasant and responsive. Perfect location in the heart of the older part of town.

Location was great. So close to shops, restaurants & the Royal Chateau 50 metres away. 1km walk from the railway station. Easy walk to pick up point for tours.

There is a restaurant directly across the alley. The food is excellent but they receive wood and food delivery very late in the evening and early in the morning Also we were asked to take the trash out and strip the bed. Since I paid a cleaning fee I feel this was not my job

i loved everything!

Location was amazing! Just steps away from the Chateau, restaurants and shops. The space was immaculate and comfy. we were originally going to meet the host to get the keys, however, we were delayed in our arrival time, so we got a code to access the keys. The hosts made it super simple to find the keys and make sure we were all set. Communication was amazing and they always answered questions quickly. The little touches, like water in the fridge, coffee, etc. made this feel like we were staying at home. They even had a washer/dryer which was extremely wonderful! we opted to eat in, so it was nice that there was a grocery store and everything we would need in the kitchen to prepare dinner. I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. This place was amazing!!!!

During overcast days it was cold in the apartment even though the heat was on.

Two story accommodation. Excellent location a short block from Chateau and restaurants. Free parking close by. A large supermarket a short drive away and a small Carrefor within walking distance. Having a toilet on each floor was very convenient.

Hardly anything to put here... but we did run out of toilet paper by our 4th night.

Fabulous location, clean and comfortable two-story apartment with everything we needed. Hosts thoughtfully picked us up at train station because roads were blocked for a bike race. But train station is just a15-20 minute walk from apartment.

We choose this apartment for the great location, easy walk to Castle, shopping, restaurants, TI office, and tour bus. The two bedroom, 1-1/2 bath apartment is modern, extremely clean and very comfortable for two or family of 5 or 6. All appliances worked well. Amboise Castle a must visit. Breakfast in the local bakery shop near by open at 7am, delicious lunches in the nearby restaurants, for dinner we purchased marinated grill meats from local butcher shop for cooking in the apartment. We highly recommend this beautiful apartment and will be happy to stay there again.

Just one suggestion: It got a bit too hot in the apartment so being able to open the windows (if window screens can be installed, that would be ideal).

Dan and Sandrine have made the place so inviting and thoughtfully included so many little things that make it fabulous! That included a bottle of chilled champagne that awaited us and fabulous suggestions for dinner. The only suggestion I have is that you could add window screens so that the windows can be kept open at night. September was unusually hot! Thank you Dan and Sandrine!

I would’ve appreciated a full length mirror. But that’s a minor detail.

The location was fantastic. The place is nicely decorated and very clean. The kitchen has everything you could need. It’s really quite charming. Dan and Sandrine are lovely hosts. The communication was great. They always responded immediately and had a lot to offer on things to explore in the Loire Valley.

Cute little apartment, very centrally located. Hosts were excellent to deal with. The bottle of bubbles in the fridge was a nice touch. Apartment has everything you need.

The weather!

Great location, nearby parking, excellent restaurant in the same street. Very friendly host, met us at the door despite a torrential downpour of rain, explained everything and gave us a complimentary bottle of wine.

Host was wonderful! They were very accommodating. The location is also excellent - right next to the chateau d’Amboise and downtown area. Parking was close by and free and grocery stores, cafes and restaurants all within walking distance.

This fully appointed two-story apartment is centrally located in Amboise. The kitchen has all the equipment to cool meals, if desired. The beds are very comfortable and there are two bathrooms, plus a washer/dryer. We visited two chateau’s and two wine tasing caves.

We were half a block from the castle, with restaurants, patisserie, and the river nearby. The kitchen was well-equipped and the house comfortable. We were very happy there.
