Grand Hotel is very comfortable with friendly, helpful staff. The location of the hotel is excellent as it is situated near the ancient buildings of Lille and near Lille Europe train station.

It wasn’t a problem for us but perhaps for others… they do have lifts but the you need to take several stairs to reach your room.

Great location near to main train station and old town area and a short walk from the Eurail station. I love having hot water in the room to make tea. Locked luggage room was wonderful.

we only stayed to sleep so its good enough for us really but maybe toilet/bathroom is a little small.

it is so close to the city centre. staffs were very nice. so accommodating and flexible. we arrived early and let us park earlier and let us leave our bags safely at the reception. Thank you.

The only small issue was being able to hear the plumbing in the rooms around us throughout our stay - it didn’t wake us up in the night but was quite noticeable when we were awake…

Such a friendly reception, nothing was too much trouble and everyone’s English was excellent. The location was great, very convenient for the train station and in the middle of the city. Leaving our luggage on our day of departure was a real bonus, and the Christmas market was just beautiful. We have already recommended this hotel to family and friends.

Door to the bathroom cannot be closed, there is no locker or smth. I was able to just push the door and locker mechanism allow me to open the door, please fix it (room 42)

The hotel is in the city centre. You can walk to every sight of the Lille. The place itself like 3 mins away from the railway station. Everything was very good, I like visiting Grand Hotel Lille, and next time I go to Lille, I’ll stay in the hotel

The only thing that bothered us was the noise of plumbing from the upstairs bathrooms, there was the sound of running water a lot of the time - I suspect this was to do with the age of the building. It would have been good to have more than 1 key for the room - there were 3 of us. There was a lot of noise from the street on the Saturday night but as we had been to the rugby match we expected this.

This is a lovely hotel right in the centre of Lille with parking nearby and easy access to the train station and the centre of the city. The breakfasts were buffest style, simple but lots of fresh bread, pastries and unlimited coffee/tea/juices.

Little bit noisy but that is to be expected for a hotel located in the heart of a busy city.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, half way between the station and the main square. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was adequate and enjoyable. We would definitely stay there again.

The lift is a bit small! Worth walking down the stairs if you can

Good comfortable hotel for a stop over. Very close to Lille Flanders station and only 10 mins walk from Lille Europe station. Lots of different eating places around.

The hotel had not specified that it had air-conditioning, so we were not expecting it. This would have been alright except that we stayed during some exceptionally hot weather. The room was unbearably hot. This was not the fault of the hotel and the staff ensured that we had a fan in the room and gave us a second one as well, although it was hard to find enough sockets to plug them in and charge our phones. There were not enough electric sockets in the room (two, plus one in the bathroom).

The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is very close to the two main railway stations and also to the city centre of Lille. The breakfasts were basic continental but were still good. The bathroom was small but very good, clean and adequate for our needs with plenty of hot water and a good shower.
