The negative points are several (but easy to be improved). The quality of the wifi (from the room 12, just outside, from the outside restaurant and from the pool area is absolutely useless. No real need for a wifi network (even if with kids it can be helpful) but the signal must be strong and stable everywhere if there is one. The other negative point is the lack of air conditioning in the room 12 (and probably in other rooms).

I appreciated the place generally speaking, nice people running it. The room 12 was perfect for us as we were 4 (2 adults and 2 young kids) and each kid had their own bed. Nice room of 38 sqm, newly renovated. The pool was perfect, good size and big space for sunbathing. Then another thing I liked was the parking area that was close to the hotel and very big with some shadow.

Well it’s what it says on the package - chic rural hotel in beautiful old building and with a superb restaurant serving traditional regional fare. But what it doesn’t say on the package is how friendly the staff - including the handyman Thierry - are. Really, my partner and I felt really AT HOME in this place because of the genuine hospitality we were accorded here. The breakfast was utterly delicious and elegantly (but not pompously) served, and the lady on reception insisted that we not leave the area without visiting both Gouffre de Pedirac (an astonishing underground cave and river system) and the medieval pilgrimage village of Rocamadour (the first a 30m drive from the hotel, then another 15m from there to Rocamadour). We obediently did both and were so glad we did: both jaw-dropping places. In short, I’ve no hesitation in recommending this hotel unreservedly.

    Nothing!

This is a fine chateau run as an art hotel. It is an impressive building in extensive garden grounds with private pool.It is located in a very small village. The restaurant is excellent, but may not always be open,so check before you arrive. Hosts Bruno and Karen were a delight. We chose a garden room simply furnished but comfortable. Perfect!

Nothing against but not the easiest to find so do a little homework on directions before arriving.

Relaxed hosts with ambience to match. Excellent dinner at good value.

We were a bit cold as the room was big and chilly

Wonderful old mansion, clean and being very well kept. Quite and beautiful, tranquility all over the place. Nice outdoor and beautiful garden. The owner was attentive, helpful and friendly. The restaurant is one of the best we ate in during this trip to France. The owner told us that his wife, the cook, was a singer. Well, her cooking is music!! Most recommended hotel& restaurant

The only negative thing was the very intermittent wifi, though apparently this is due to the poor internet service given by the phone company.

The owners were very hospitable and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is peaceful and quiet and is a great place to relax, but at the same time there are lots of interesting and lovely places to visit nearby.
