Beautiful and very comfortable rooms. The staff were all really friendly and accommodating. The evening meal was very good value for money for those who are happy to try something different.

The location was excellent to visit the Chateau Villandry. It was very quiet behind a large stone wall and very pleasant being able to sit outside for dinner and breakfast. We had a lovely room and large bathroom .it was all very clean and the bed was so comfortable we slept very well. Dinner was simple but good value The owner was charming and helped us when we got a nail in a tyre. The village of Villandry is very quaint and the Chateau magnificent.

A glass of wine seemed a fair price €5 for rose however tiny glass filled less than half was not expected. A bottle was €19 but couldn’t possibly drink a bottle. Please consider filling glasses.

Wonderful location on the edge of town but within walking distance of the gardens and the village.An interesting history of transformation to this historic building. A welcoming and helpful arrival from our host and a room overlooking the gardens and adjacent rural land, a quiet and serene scene. On site restaurant served a wonderful meal and breakfast, so very self contained. The rooms were well sized and serviced and met our expectations for comfort.We found our stay calm and restful.

Next time I would book a bigger room and ask for a stand up shower option. Our room had a queen bed and that filled up the entire room. Very cozy and very clean.

The staff was amazing. Very friendly and informative. Made an excellent dinner recommendation and reservations. Helped us book a boat tour and wine tour. Later in the evening upon returning, we met more staff and enjoyed talking to them and putting our pin in the map.

I was a little cold on the frst night as it was cold outside, and there was only one duvet, but I asked for another the next morning and it was immediately supplied, which solved the problem. Also they have a set menu for dinner in the low season, which offers no fish or vegetarian options (well, this is France!) so we ate out both evenings. I hope the menu is broader in the high season. We would certainly stay again.

A lovely room in a large elegant house with a beautiful garden, within walking distance of the village of Villandry and the chateau. Excellent breakfast with plenty of home made items. They also sell home made foods at reception, including their excellent honey.

The fixed 3 course dinner was appreciated as we were bike touring and happy not to have to walk down the hill to the small town to find dinner; however, the food was pretty uninteresting and pre-prepared for French standards, and the wine list a bit pricey. Bike parking is outside, partially covered.

Comfortable and good size room in nicely renovated property. Grounds and property are very pleasant, and the staff were very nice and helpful at check in.
