Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsReaching the property is a bit of a downhill adventure..If you have a low /sports car,it is a no no, unless you don't mind scratching your bumpers.., Although the town is close you will need to walk uphill to get there😅 Would also be handy to have a glass panel or curtain in the bathtub,to avoid splashing everywhere when showering
Everything was exactly what I wanted out of this location: welcoming staff, beautiful rocky views, beautiful room, wonderful pool. We did go in a less busy period so we mostly had the pool to ourselves so we could relax there whenever we wanted. Patricia and Janine were very welcoming. Aside from the property itself ,it is an excellent home base for reaching the Gorges du Verdon :10 min drive to Lake st.Croix- where you can rent a kayak, electric boat or hydrobicicle and explore this fabulous lake and gorges. It is also about 20-25 min drive to Auberges de Crete where the terrifying yet fantastic Route des Cretes starts- it's a must do!

Everything was brilliant. The lady was very welcoming and helpful. She was so kind and cared about us so much. The room was amazingly lovely. It’s old but I could tell it’s been managed very well. Every corner of here has its own charm and beautiful. We really liked staying here so didn’t even think of going to centre until we leave Moustiers-Sainte-Marie. The centre has very limited parking lot so this place will be a good choice. We could just simply park a car at our apartment and walked to town. On the day of check out, the lady kindly let us to leave the car on the property and spend time as much as we wanted. It was too short to stay here for 2 nights as everything was stunning! Loved staying here. Highly recommended!

United KingdomThe stairs up to the bedroom in the duplex studio are very steep. They weren’t a problem for us, but you have to be very careful.
There is a wonderful relaxed atmosphere and you really feel like you are on holiday here. The pool area is lovely and we enjoyed breakfasts and drinks on our two terraces. The surrounding views are stunning. You can easily walk up to Moustiers to enjoy the restaurants and shops.

United StatesThere are different types of accommodations on the property. We had an air conditioned duplex apartment. The bedroom is located up a flight of stairs from the rest of the apartment. The A/C unit is located on the wall about 1/3rd of the way up the staircase. Definitely cools the downstairs. But cold air drops. So almost no effect on the bedroom. It was extremely warm up there. Opening the window may have let flies in. Mattress was thin and there is some low sloping ceiling that one might have to watch out for. And of course you must use the stairs to get to the bathroom. I actually slept on the small sofa downstairs one night. The angle of the road to get to or from the premises is a bit tricky from the main road.
The entire place and surroundings are gorgeous. Beautiful flowers and plants. Everything looks very well cared for. Spectacular mountain views. Exceptional swimming pool area. Large pool with comfortable chairs and lounges and super mountain view. We watched hangliders over the mountain while at the pool. Great thing to come back to after a day out during a hot spell. Nice kitchen and bathroom. Very attractive accomodations. We had 2 different tables with chairs for sitting outside with a coffee or glass of wine. We ate breakfast outside 1 day. And the proprietor is a gracious, friendly, warm woman who really aims to please. She made us feel right at home. Coffee, tea, sugar and salt were provided. We were given towels to use at the pool. First floor was very comfortable. And the town itself is as scenic as it gets. Many restaurants and various parking areas.

United StatesThe driveway is a little steep until you get used to it.
The property is set in a very quiet area not far from Moustier (within walking distance when not too hot). It is very private (only 5 rooms). The pool is lovely and most evenings there was no one there. It is also close to the Gorge du Verdon! The gardens are lovely too. The host Janine was delightful and very helpful!

AustraliaThe Booking.com listing needs to be updated as there is no BBQ or washing machine and you really can't cook in the apartment. The apartment itself is smallish and not really shown in the photos, with only a double bed, kitchenette in a cupboard and bar fridge. If a number of obsolete wardrobes were removed, it would be a lot larger.
It is a lovely rustic setting with a few apartments in each of the buildings on the property. The hostess, Mme Cheli, is lovely and very helpful. The pool area is great. We had a garden level mountain view apartment that had a nice sunroof and lounge, as well as outdoor table and chairs. Good WiFi. Reasonable value for an expensive area.

We arrived at our destination. If you don’t know there is an accommodation, you wouldn’t see it. From the paved road, we went quite a bit downhill on a rough gravel path and came across a few small cottages. It took a little searching — our French isn’t great — but then a friendly lady appeared who guided us to the apartment, which is attached to her own residence. The first thing we saw was a large, cozy terrace, slightly elevated, with space to eat, relax, and enjoy. Very charming, with a large plot of land. To enter the apartment, you do have to duck a little. Inside, we were met with a fairy-tale-like scene: a small, cozy living area where the bed is also located. On the left, a kitchen equipped with everything you need. At the back, the bathroom with toilet — just fine and spacious enough! The view of the local mountains completes the setting. Very close to the sights and the idyllic village, which has plenty of shops and restaurants. We had a great time and felt very welcome. In short: highly recommended 🇫🇷👍🏻

FranceLovely, clean and cosy property with great views over the surroundings hills and mountains behind. We've very much enjoyed our short break in Moustier-Sainte-Marie, which really is one of the prettiest villages you will ever visit. We knew the area relatively well from previous trips, however this recent one was by far the the one we've mostly enjoyed since we could not ask for a better host. Madame Cheli, thank you very much for everything, you really are one of the nicest and kindest people one could meet.
