Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Austriathe parking situation is a bit tricky, but there are options to either book into a garage nearby, or find spots close the building at the streets, so not even an issue, just be aware that the region is probably not optimized for big cars ;)
The apartment was super quiet, nicely equipped. The landlady was super nice and suportive, for the dog there are some nice areas to walk the dog during daytime close by (Parc Dauphine, Isere, a small parc below the apartment) There are lots of restaurants nearby, no matter what type of kitchen you like. We also had plenty of things to explore in the evenings after work!

AustraliaBed was a bit soft and small. That’s our personal opinion.
Very pretty and cosy apartment. Within walking distance to all major attractions. The place was very well secured. Almost like breaking into a bank vault to open the door!

AustraliaDifficult to park close by, but also expensive. The bed was too small for a taller person like myself
Close to the city town, the attractions, restaurants and the spectacular view of the mountains both north and south from different rooms in the apartment

United KingdomOn arrival, the person in the flat above was finishing off some "bricolage" which generated noise, but this was the only time that this occurred, so it did not seriously effect us as we were soon out and about in town. The only issue of any note was "l'ascenceur" (the elevator), which was not reliable. It seemed to have a mind of its own as to whether it would come or not to the requested floor, or whether the doors would open or close. Eventually, it lost its lighting at which point it was set to be "out of action" though we did travel in it in total darkness at one point. Given that the apartment is on the 6th floor, it is no joke in a hot Grenoble summer to have to walk up the stairs. (The block is traditional with high ceiling for each level, so many stairs to climb.) I should emphasise that the problems of the lift are not the fault of the owner. I found the bed a little soft (personally, I prefer a very hard mattress but this is a very minor point.) Just a suggestion, but a short written guide to the facilities might be useful?
I really loved this apartment, which is perfect for couples staying in Grenoble. (Having lived in an apartment in Échirolles, south of Grenoble, for over a decade in the 1980s, I just wish I could have rented one like this one!) It was an extremely well-equipped property and so we didn't need to buy anything on arrival. The location is ideal being 5 minutes walk from the main railway station, coach station, and tram station. Adjacent to the bedroom, there is a small annex which was great for my use as a PC room. The speed of the WiFi was amazing - it showed 1.2Gb when I tested it on my laptop! High speed WiFi is great for streaming TV - there was one TV in the lounge and a second in the bedroom with full streaming capabilities, e.g. Netflicks, Youtube, etc, with sofas for both. The air-con is only in the bedroom but this served our needs perfectly. The bathroom has a modern shower with quality fittings (Grohe). There are nice views from the windows given that it is on the 6th floor (out of 7). The electric shutters for the bedroom and its annex were very useful. Our arrival instructions were very clear (though it took me a day or so for me to spot that the electronic key fob worked the outer main door for the block as well as the inner one), so there was no need to punch a number in once we had obtained the key with its key-fob. I liked the fact that we were provided with instructions in English which made us feel very welcome. We had great contact information - many thanks to Valerie! Also, I liked the fact that we could book just the nights we actually needed as some places want a calendar week. Overall, I can highly recommend this place.

United StatesThat there was ZERO mention of a thingy on the key ring to wave in front of a camera/panel to get from the lobby to the elevator. Everything else was easy but if you are making a video to show me how to get in.... that is DEFINITELY IMPORTANT to include in your video montage. I've already mentioned it to the young woman in my anxiety to check out on time.
The spaciousness. It was clean and very comfortable. Close to nice restaurants and the train and bus station. Small market three blocks away. Everything I needed.

NetherlandsEverything was fone, may the bed was a bit squeuky, but I was tired enough to sleep well. Be careful that the code for the key box safe resets exactly at 10:00 on the day of departure, so if you are even 5 minutes late to check out the safe won't open.
Very nice spacious apartment with nice views from all windows. Fully equipped kitchen. The keys were easy to get.

SwitzerlandThe elevator in the building is tempermental, it does not always come when called. The apartment is on the 6th floor, but since the ceilings are high, the climb feels like 8 floors. We suggested a few hooks near the shower to hang towels -- the host was very receptive.
Convenient location close to Grenoble train station and walkable to MINATEC. The place was spotlessly clean. Well-equipped apartment with diswasher (soap pellets included), good assortment of cutlery and dishes. Host provided a good quantity of toilet paper, good hairdryer, some coffee and jam in the kitchen, even a small emergency kit with plasters and saline in bathroom. The heating was very good on cold nights. Even the AC unit in the bedroom can provide warmth. WiFi was great: I measured download speeds up to 1.4 Gbit/sec on my iPhone. Nice views from the windows. I would definitely be happy to stay there again.
