The balcony was just redone with some product (glue or something) that prevented us from going on the balcony and it also let a smell in the room. As it's temporary not a real issue. Only one of the two sides of the bed had a plug to charge the phone during the night next to the pillow, but alternative option in the room.

Breakfast (continental) was very nice. Quality of the products seemed high. Good choice between cereals, yoghurt, baguette, pancake, fresh fruits, eggs to boil. Orange and apple juice from dispenser. Good quality coffee from the machine and refill as much as you like. Different sorts of tea to pick from. Many people stayed a long time in the breakfast room, and seemed to appreciate it. Room was redone, Cosy style with artwork on the walls. Bathroom also freshly renovated and very modern, clean feel. Close to lake Geneva, casino and event center. Staff helpful and friendly. Surely a recommendation and I'd absolutely stay again.

You have to look out for where you park your car. There is a market there some days and if your car is in the way it will be removed and put in the next town. The markings are all in French so be careful.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Room was big and very comfortable.

The hotel didn't have its own parking spaces, but I guess that's the tradeoff with being right in the centre of town.

Very friendly staff, family atmosphere. Location couldn't be better - right in the centre. So we parked the car and left it there for the entire stay in the public underground parking right beside the hotel. We stayed there off-season and we slept like logs. Good beds, quiet. Nice contiental breakfast with tasty bread, nice cheeses, fresh fruit and good coffee.

The rooms are on the small size and there is no escaping the noise – on either side of the hotel, you will not be comfortable with the noise. Aside from that, the air conditioning in the rooms is not good because the thermostats have been placed in the hall area near the door and not in the area that you sleep in. Thus you will set the level to say 19 degrees (C), but the cold air blown into the sleeping area will never stop, as the hall area will retain the higher temperatures! So you’ll either freeze all night or pop the balcony door, and be awakened by the drunks roaming around the neighborhood at all wee hours of the morn.

Smack in the heart of town. Truthfully, there is nothing special about this establishment that warrants it as fabulous. While most of the good reviews are true, it is just a mediocre hotel. Perhaps it gets the great reviews because the majority of the other hotels in the area are either old dilapidated 2 stars or very expensive.

Though I have to say that the room which I actually booked was different to what I expected it would be. It didn't have straight view over the lake and there was a permanent smell from the restaurant kitchen on the ground floor. Nevertheless the adjacent room (privilege catecory) was much better and we were lucky to be offered to move into that one for the same price. As the overall comfort and the lake view was the most important criteria for us, we was ready to move to another hotel. But the hotel staff was very helpful and kind, sp we decided to stay in Le Littoral! I believe in high season it would be difficult to change the room so it's better to clearly indicate preferences well in advance!

Everything was ok during our stay. Breakfast was good and coffee machine offeres variety of grained coffees, which is better than in many higher category hotels. For 10 Eur you can order private relaxation room with sauna and hammam which are really fine at the end of active day. Though there's no kettle in the room, it's possible to borrow one in the kitchen.
