The apartment was a little hard to find and be aware there are MANY stairs but well worth it.

The location of the apartment is perfect, it’s where the cafes, restaurants and markets are but still very peaceful and quiet at night.

Up alot of stairs. Free parking is a good walk away. Equipment takes time to operate which is not ideal on short trip. We were one couple. Only one toilet in bathroom which could be tricky if four people staying.

Location in centre of Honfleur. Quirky top floor apartment. Lots of good quality gadgets and equipment. Lots of history. Good recommendations and guide. Great art and atmosphere in space.

Interior design, views and facilities.

This is a beautiful period loft property with excellent interior design and all the facilities you are ever likely to need for a city/town break. You get great views over Honfleur and the central location is great. The host has thought of everything. Just be aware there are 3 flights of stairs to the top and free parking is 400m walk away (this was made clear from the start so no complaints there).

Just to note - the apartment is not easily accessible by car. I would advise putting the directions for the Naturospace carparking ( as given by the owner) into sat nav and going straight there. It is then a short walk back through the town to the apartment. You can wheel your bags no problem. It is in the centre of Honfleur so a bit noisy. It didn't bother us.

The apartment was in a great location, well.equipped and comfortable. We were a family of 4 ( teens and adults) and all loved the apartment and the location in the centre of Honfleur.

The only small fault - the noise of the bottles being emptied from the Cidrerie (at 3:00am) was disturbing...!!

The location in the centre of Honfleur was excellent. The apartment, although on the third floor was fabulous: well stocked with everything and very comfortable for 4 adults. As a historic building, it was beautifully appointed and furnished.

For me everything was perfect but if i had to choose one thing... A basic old fashioned tin opener to open our large tin of 'Confit de Canard'. There are tin openers but too high quality to open a robust tin 😊 I'm being picky.

We liked everything! We were a party of 4, mother, father with our two sons in there early twenties We opened the door to a beautifully stylish apartment. The sofa's were very comfortable to relax and take advantage of the media system. The kitchen was very well equipped with high quality appliances, and enjoying our meal on the fabulous large glass dining table with a view of the town was a joy. Bedrooms very comfortable. Great.

Main objection was actual location of apartment - Access with big 4WD car & unloading luggage- impossible in pouring rain with a sister who is not at all fit. There were roadworks in street below, blocking ability to park properly in order to unload. Carparking relatively close -10 mins away but v tricky pulling wheelie suitcases over Honfleur’s beautiful cobbled streets in the rain. Also it was a surprise to discover the number of flights of stairs to climb before reaching apartment on top floor. I was fine but it was difficult for my sister. There should have been notification made of this in description. Definitely would not stay mid season as would be too noisy - It is right in the heart of things so to be expected but something to be wary of for those seeking a quieter venue.

Excellent communications with host- quick to respond to answer any queries & helpful. Decor, design & size of apartment - v effective. Facilities & utilities provided v good-with the exception of lighting. There had been a storm just prior to our arrival, windows had leaked & this had obviously affected main sitting room lighting so we had to depend on dim floor lamp. Owner warned us of window leak prior to arrival but tradesman obviously hadn’t checked electrics. Not owner’s fault just our bad luck. Each bedroom situated at either end of apartment, offering privacy.

Nothing really just challenging when arriving with many bags then tricky off loading.... But small price to pay for perfect location and brilliant accommodation.

The host was so accomodating and helpful. The accomodation was of a high standard and very well equiped and in the heart of the village. Never sleep well away from home....but here slept like a log better than at home! All round brilliant!!

Great sense of design. Sophisticated selection of furniture. Real charm of Normandie with a modern twist. Perfect location and great/easy/cool communication with the host. When coming back to Honefleur I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Bravo!

It was in a wonderful location-walking distance to everything!! The host had great directions on how to get into the apartment and told us all the best places to go to eat and to visit!!

The access was difficult. Tight narrow stairs up 3 floors. Made it challenging with larger bags. The slat bed also popped a few slats! Also difficult to find. We had to ask several people to help us.

The location is perfect. Right at the waterfront and the hub of Honfleur.
