Check in was not until 6 pm which we felt was very late especially when you are travelling on a motor bike so no where to leave you things. Check out was at 10 am in the morning however whilst having our very nice breakfast at 8.30 am our room was changed so after breakfast we couldn’t use the room again once we finished at 9 am.

Beautiful old property with spacious accommodation and view over Laval. Good instructions received as to where to park and how to access the hotel, although it’s not like a hotel at all. More the top floor of someone’s house.

Wi-Fi did not work and height of doorways for anyone over 1m 70 this is a serious hazard

We didn't communicate very well with the lady who came in to put out breakfast. I thought I had, but we still received foodstuffs we did not want.

A beautiful building. However we thought we had booked into a Logis Hotel, when in fact it was a private home.

The communication was a little bit difficult since nobody was physically in the house. And ordering exactly what to have for breakfast the next day is not common. And no channels were available at the TV but I didn't need it.

Beautiful property and the location was great Good parking,Not private but a very quiet dead end road ,So no problem parking my Motorcycle. Very friendly people with a Breakfast of choice in the owners lovely dining room. The room itself was very large and spacious

We found the arrangements for breakfast a little confusing.

Spacious room and bathroom up a wooden spiral staircase in a very old house. View of the castle and town from bedroom window. Convenient entry using a key safe. Undercover bicycle storage at the back of the house. Superb breakfast served in dining room.

Nothing except perhaps to put the name of the house on the outside door.

The location, once one had worked out which was the house, was quite wonderful, with an unsurpassed view of the Château de Laval. Parking was unexpectedly easy, too.

Remember to tell them what you would like for breakfast - we were travelling and didn't see the message till too late but still enjoyed something simple.

What a great place to stay! A little bit like an escape room to find our way in but well worth the effort! Through from a narrow lane a short walk from some good restaurants, into an elevated courtyard with beautiful views over the town, up an ancient wooden spiral staircase to a simply furnished flat with very thick stone walls. Great fun.

I think Booking.com could provide a little more information about where to locate the keypad lock to find the key, also where to enter the property with the key. However the owners were quickly able to reply directly as to where to go, so after a couple of texts we were soon inside. If you were not able to climb winding old stairs it workshy be for you, however for me it was all part of the experience.

An amazing historic building. Beautiful views across Laval. Pretty garden. The bedlinen was crisp soft and cool, bed comfortable. The interior of the property was decorated tastefully combining the classic and modern feel. I felt very privilege to have stayed here, and would return. Breakfast was freshly laid out to enjoy. We were allowed to check in earlier than we had first stated which was a bonus to settle in.
