Hosts very friendly and open for any question. Very calm location with beautiful garden at 10mins drive from Laon where you can go to have dinner. Possibility to leave our bikes on the domain.

This place is a beautiful oasis of calm. After riding my motorbike through a storm to get here I appreciated the space to sit and enjoy the evening sun amongst the trees. The kitchen had all I needed for cooking my dinner, the bed was comfortable and it had a lovely, powerful shower. The room itself was in the turret of this beautiful house and the small village 10 minutes from the town of Laon with its medieval town centre on a hill. Secure storage for car/motorcycle. The host were absolutely lovely, and I would like to return in the future

Old building in a Lovely peaceful setting. Big gardens with tables, chairs well equipped apartment, with plenty of the basics provided, tea,coffee etc big bathroom, good shower pressure.plenty sockets ! Helpful charming owners!

Nothing for us but you do need to be reasonably mobile to deal with the stone steps in the turret.

Great self contained apartment housed in the turret of this attractive chateau like house. Well equipped kitchen with space outside to eat. Friendly helpful host with Leo the doberman who is also very friendly. Ideal as an overnight stay on the way to Calais. Secure parking within the grounds.

There was a holiday so no shops open for miles. Also a crash on hill into Laon. None of this was down to the owners. Fridge didn't work its being replaced.

Lovely quirky turret room. Nice views clean and comfortable. Charming people!

Nothing, it was all good

It really does look as good in real life as it does in the pictures. What a lovely looking house. It's a spacious appartment on the first floor accessed via an old stone spiral staircase. The owner greeted us on arrival, she doesn't speak English and my French is very basic but we understood one another and it added to the character of the stay and you don't need to speak the same language to know that you're being given a genuine and warm welcome. The owner has a big dog which normally roams freely but for those that aren't comfortable around dogs (like us) the owner very kindly and considerately kept it out of the way and we never saw it. (I'm aware that this can be a sensitive topic for some but before anyone thinks of us as not being animal lovers keep in mind we're both vegan and my wife has an animal fur alergy :) The property has some really cool architectural features, for example if you're into carpentry check out how the design of the windows. OK that's a bit nerdy but I'm into that sort of thing. The garden is huge and deckchairs are provided. Parking is outside on the side of the road but the road is very quiet and seems very safe.

The photograph on your site was a little misleading in that it wasn't clear that the appartment we were renting was just the top floor.

The location was wonderfully quiet, and the surroundings attractive. The hostess was delightful, and the breakfast (at 10 euros pp) good.

Well. What can I say? I slept in a castle!! The hosts were waiting for me in the garden even if I was running a little late. They showed me kindly around, and I felt like I had a whole floor of the mansion to myself. I was pretty impressed. The apartment is quite spacious for just 1 person, plenty of storage space and well equipped. The bathroom is shared and big also. This house has plenty of green space around it. It's secluded and really quiet!
