Distance from the beach/sea, if I really have to find something not so positive to say, but the distance also meant tranquility.

The place was absolutely charming. Luxurious but understated.

The poolside service was not as attentive as I would expect. On several occasions I had to return to the hotel building to find someone to serve us drinks.

The room was quiet, private and comfortable. Dinner options are limited but very well cooked and served, breakfast was fab. The overall vibe is one of tranquility but with the option to visit mad St Tropez by hotel shuttle.

There is nothing to be improved on. If you don’t love this hotel and efficient staff and pretty surroundings then nothing will make you happy in life.

Everything! The service was extraordinary!!! The chauffeured car service to St Tropez town and beach clubs was exceptional. The rooms are perfect, beds comfortable. Room service late at night very prompt. This is one of my favourite hotels ever!!

Absolutely nothing

We have just returned home from the most lovely weekend staying to celebrate my best friends birthday. The team at Mas De Chastelas couldn't have done more to make sure we both felt so welcome and like we were home away from home. The hotel is gorgeous, peaceful and the common areas are cozy. Jean-Luc makes the best martinis, Lor was always front of house to welcome guests with a smile, and both Sophie and Fabiens were extremely helpful and flexible to ensure we had all our reservations confirmed. And the hotel shuttle service is one of the biggest perks in a very busy town with limited parking. We also loved our room and loved waking up every morning with the most beautiful view. It was PERFECT. So perfect, in fact, I'll be returning again in a few weeks to stay again. Can't wait!

Everything was perfect.

This was an amazing place, everything was wonderfull, the photos really do not do its justice, when we drove into the gates it felt like we were driving into a fairytale. A magical place in the middle of a beautiful scenery. Nothing but praise for this hotel and their staff. Definitely coming back.

Nothing! It's divine!

Absolutely divine 18th century mansion that is the most amazing hotel. Photos don't do it justice. The breakfast was amazing, the inclusive driver service to the beaches and St Tropez village, the pool, the grounds. Doesn't get better than this!

Maybe good to have a gym. Needed the pool a little warmer but everything else was wonderful especially the free taxi service provided by the hotel to go to St Tropez.

The breakfast at 35euros each was too expensive. We had dinner in the evening-it was delicious and served beautifully.

This is the best facility we have stayed in France. The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious, the ambience and location are perfect. In general, the whole atmosphere in the hotel is very pleasant. The staff cares for each guest to make the stay as pleasant as possible and takes care of every little thing (sweets and a bottle of water before bed and a small gift on departure). Since breakfast is very important to us, the food was perfectly delicious. The whole building is very clean and tidy. Any recommendation for this accommodation. We will definitely be back again. :)

I liked it all and would love to go and stay there again if I had the chance!

The hotel has a soul and an ambiance. It is cool with a touch of the shabby chick French style, however very updated and super tasteful. Great swimming pool, excellent breakfast, amazing staff! The shuttle is just the best as you can be anywhere in no time, town or beach! Nothing ever was too much bother for the staff, they were brilliant in every way. A true gem!

I cannot think of anything to complain about.

Everything was perfect, room 42 on the second floor corner has a view of the pool and the grounds. The pool is beautiful and heated to a good temperature. The property is what one imagines when thinking about St Tropez luxury. Staff are very attentive and recharged my electric car for me.

The room was very small. It was not easy to get into the rooms as it is quite far from the main lobby. The bathroom is designed with no doors and the shower was also open, which makes water splashes on the floor and it gets quite cold. Moreover, the water pressure is very low. There is very little room to move around. The location is away from the city center and the room was very pricy. For that kind of cost, we expect the room to be bigger, or the location more center. Unfortunately with that price, we got the worst of both worlds: a very small, crampy room with quite a distance (15 minutes drive) from the beach or the city center.

Not much that I like. Did not meet my expectation.
