Parking was a real problem since the Hotel informed us they are in contact with a payed parking place. They just did not tell us how far it was to drive and to walk back to the Hotel. On the next morning we made our way by foot to the car with the luggage, not recommended. Stuff was very busy during breakfast so nothing was ready, 8 a.m., and we had to wait for everything and ask at least twice , that's not pleasant.

Centrally located. Rooms are spacious enough but not really comfortable since everything is extremely dated, not "retro" design.

The room was too hot and we were unable to turn the heat down. When we opened the windows the noise was excessive. As a consequence it was very difficult to sleep. The shower was so small my partner 183 cm could not stand up straight. The shower was slippery and over a bath. Do not stay here unless you have good balance and are agile.

The staff were lovely and the location was excellent. The breakfast offered lots of options and also excellent.

Ensuite too small. You could have sat on the toilet and washed you hands at the same time.

Ensuite was very extremely small. It would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. As mentioned by other travellers the room was hot unless you opened the windows. We stayed end of September and were in the front so although we had a good view of the fountain on the round a about, it was extremely noisy with the windows open.

The last time we stayed (a year ago) I thought the breakfast was a lot better. This year the croissants were rather dry.

We have stayed here before as the hotel is very good value and very convenient for the city centre, they also give you a voucher for half price parking in a nearby underground car park. The lady who checked us in was very helpful indeed.

The room was super warm, when the weather is warm outside definitely is warm inside! We had to sleep with the windows open to get some air (we had a fan in the room, but did not cooled it at all), the downside of having the windows fully open was the noise from the street outside; so it came down to that, either very warm room or noise of the street.

The breakfast was plenty and with wide range: croissants, pain au chocolate, cereals, yogurts, ham, cheese, coffee, different natural juices... so very good! Also the comfort of the bed was very good.

Small room (102). Very difficult for two people to move around or dress in. Noise. There was a fan/ motor outside our window for part of the night. May not have been related to hotel but woke me up. A small point. They advertise that they speak English but the receptionist at our check-in did not. She was polite but asking questions was difficult. We do try to communicate in French but if you don't speak English, you shouldn't advertise that you do. Hot water. It took 10 minutes to run through (quite literally). However, when it eventually arrived, it was piping hot and the shower was good.

Parking: La Republic (10 minutes walk away) is secure underground parking and only charge 9€ for 24 hours. Breakfast. Simple but fresh.

The website gives the impression of a modern stylish hotel. In actual fact it is anything but. Lack of air-conditioning was an unpleasant surprise. The building itself is terrible dated, and would probably be a fire trap in the event of an emergency.

This is nothing as per the description. Unfortunately everything about this hotel was bad, no parking, no fixed AC, only a portable one with low performance that only works with a window open which makes the noice from outside disturb your sleep. Rooms were very dirty with webs in the corners, dusty carpets and worst of all was the smell. After a horrible night you always look forward to breakfast but as with everything else about this hotel, that was also a dissapointment, sorry but this was probably the worst hotel i ever been in.

Car parking in the immediate area during business hours is very difficult and our baggage drop off was stressful ( don’t you just love that term ) and much the same. Once we were able to receive instructions from staff all improved however to the novice user of the central station, which is good , it was a challenge and takes longer than expected. The entry appearance to the hotel was discouraging but compensated by our more attractive room

The staff were extremely helpful and we did not fault their service. While the room and bathroom were tight they were well appointed and very clean. Breakfast offered a good choice to more than satisfy which with the room was very good value for money.

No air conditioning, but a noisy fan with bright light that shone in our faces all night. Very small room,

The hotel is well placed. Away from busy centre. Nice bathroom with a good shower

add air conditioner to the room, change design of the soap and shampoo bottle, they look like epruvetes, almost not to find them between the sink mirror and shelve, difficult to let them stay vertically while you take a shower.

Hotel is okey if you have no many options. It feels like an very old building which is sometime ago renovated. The bathrooms were more new I would say. Space is narrow around the bed, maybe 50cm side ways of the bed. No air condition but a ventilator.

The hotel was VERY bad ! I can't beleive it's a 3 stars hotel... it's very old, the lift is very small and slow, the room smelled bad and the shower/toilet smelled worst because of a big sewer smell... The walls are very thin, you can ear everything from all the other neightboors rooms (left/right and upper). The stay overthere was awful, fortunatly for us it was only for one night. I normally don't really add comments after having been to a hotel because I often agree with the rating on booking.com, but this time it was a big disappointment. The ranking was 8 when we've seen it and I hope my comment could avoid other people to get trapped because from what I've seen this ranking looks very fake...

The good points were the staff that was nice, the location that is great and the breakfast was ok. But for this price I would definitely not recommend this hotel, especially if it's for a long stay.

The breakfast room capacity may not be enough for all the visitors. The hot water, coffee and food kept running out with the speed of lightening. The staff were brilliant but they were hampered as there were too many guests and too limited space

The staff were very nice and really going out of their way to accommodate.

Its a real pity for such a nice hotel that it did not have air-conditioning, as the fan fitted in the room was quite noisy through the night but boy with the temperature it was needed.

Great location for getting in and around Metz, breakfast was typical continental but there was plenty and there was no problem should you need more of anything.

The front office staff work great but slow especially when multiple customers arrived. Leaving the key at the front counter and having to wait while others weee checking in was a little bit frustrating. But over all a very minor issue.

Location was extremely good. Walk to anywhere of note. Staff weee friendly and accomodating.

Bed uncomfortable, no curtains to block out light apart from a sheer polyester style curtain which was totally see thru. By the looks of it there had been another set of curtains in the room as there were two poles, they had been removed. Room very depressing and disappointing. The only redeeming feature of the hotel were the friendliness of the staff.

Parking is not available and we had to use a parking station. A discount is given for 24hr parking - €8. The parking station is too far from the hotel to carry luggage.

The hotel was easy walking distance to main areas. The hotel was very clean. The rooms are very small, but very comfortable. The breakfast is good - lots of pastries, sliced ham and packaged cheese. Coffee great.
