bathroom was a bit in need of an upgrade/deep clean- all smelt a bit musty although it is an old building . Comms with the hosts wasn’t great but minor details really

Lovely old appartment with beautiful decorations- just very lovely . Beds were great and comfortable, lounge and settee were great and the location is absolutely spot on! Just a 3’ walk to the main square of arras - which is a lovely town. Parking in the courtyard was excellent as well - just so convenient. A great place to stay - really characterful and great

Struggled with access to the apartment. While the apartment looks great, it needs upkeep. Sofa sagged & was marked. The bathroom was grubby in the shower. Maintenance needed. Shower gel cannister, but empty. There was the bare minimum all round. There was no hand towel & nothing to dry dishes within the kitchen. Had to use our bath towel. Found it strange that we had to provide details for a key deposit before getting access code for keys. This was after we had already paid in full. Have never been asked for this in any booking. I did not meet owners. Their communication was OK, but found them a bit abrupt.

Excellent location. Very convenient to access Grand Place & shops. High ceilings making it spacious. Nice kitchen & seating area. Private parking was a bonus. There was a market on the Sunday, which was great. Arras is a stunning town, very friendly people. 😊

There was some marks / dust on the glass dining table, easily removed but hadn't been when I arrived. The finish of some aspects of the apartment (eg shower tiles) was ok but no more. There was a short delay in getting in to the apartment at check in but this didn't cause me an issue

Great location, quiet yet central. Interior just about the right size, comfortable and well appointed. Owners quick to respond to questions.

It was cold inside and we couldn't really turn the heat up. Host said we could, but didn't offer further help. It was not properly advertized that the 2 bedrooms/beds were actually in the same space (1 is on ground level, the other is above it on a metal construction and wooden staircase, but it's all open and inside the same room basically. The couch in the living room should be a more comfortable one, so the apt is more cosy to hang and relax out in. Water in toilet continues running after flushing.

Great location, walking distance from the town center and the main 2 squares! Private parking, and easy to find the apt. Very spacious living room and comfy beds. Fully stocked kitchen and bathroom was great.

A very comfortable, cosy bolthole, brilliantly located in the centre of this beautiful old town, with everything we needed right on the doorstep. Secure parking was a real bonus. We were grateful for the restaurant recommendations too - we had a delicious meal at La Cave des Saveurs.

This suited our needs as we were only there for two nights and on our way home, however it wasn’t well equipped as there was no washing machine and nowhere to hang clothes other than a cupboard housing cleaning products with 3 hangers and no iron. The light in kitchen was faulty and flashed and so we couldn’t use it. This should have been checked before we arrived. On the whole the place was clean but there were hanging cobwebs in places. For these reasons I’ve marked it down.

Beautiful apartment with traditional French period features minutes from Place des Heros. Large living room with a gorgeous high ceiling and stunning black and white floor. I liked the quirky bedroom one on top of the other. My son also loved this. The kitchen was modern and functional.

My 9 year old loved the mezzanine bed, but the stairs had no banister, which doesn't seem safe for very young children.

Small things...it would have been nice to have had a toilet roll as we arrived after local shops had closed. There were 4 of us, but I could only find one duvet. Other than that, it was lovely.

Beautiful apartment! A lot of care has gone into the styling (it's really gorgeous). Nice mezzanine bedroom.. spacious lounge, really bright and airy. Very comfortable beds. Great location next to a beautiful square.

Insufficient number of cups and plates. Glasses and mugs could have been bigger! Bathroom looked a bit tired. Providing soap and washing up liquid would have been a good thing.

Location was perfect. Apartment was attractively furnished. Beds comfortable. Private parking. Aline popped by to drop off a new hairdryer as it was missing. Lots of things to do in the local area. We took a train to Paris, visited the Menin gate in Ypres, visited Cambrai and the Hindenburg line, went to the beach at le Touquet-Paris-Plage.

A couple of small things were annoying. We would have preferred extra pillows and we only had two towels for four people. There is nowhere to hang anything up, no hooks for clothes, coats or even towels. The fireplace is beautiful but annoying that you cannot control it yourself, we had to message the owners late in the evening to turn off the fire.

The apartment is beautifully decorated and very stylish. The location is superb in Arras and the courtyard secure parking was brilliant. Overall a lovely place. Very clean.

    - the heating system is not practical at all. Having to contact the owner each time you need to use it (turn it on or ask to adjust the temperature). However, I must highlight that the owner replies and actions quickly. - not very clean. - parking: it was not easy to understand where exactly the correct allocated space was.

Spacious and really well decorated. The features are really beautiful - exactly like the pictures.

Nothing! A couple of minor suggestions would be coat hooks - we are a family of four so it meant coats on all chairs. And towel hooks for bathroom. A bit limited on crockery (few bigger mugs rather than just the small coffee cups would be good). Also as its a good stop over it would be good to provide washing up liquid.

Spacious, clean and bright apartment. Great location right in the centre of Arras behind the main squares. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants just a few minutes walk away. Secure gated parking (tight entrance for a big SUV type car but manageable). Comfortable beds.

Access via lock box was very difficult, as was finding the way into the property once we had the keys. There were no instructions for this. The main heating unit could not be controlled, and this made the apartment either too hot or too cold. In addition, the electric radiators were turned off at the fuseboard.

Nice amount of space. Reasonably well equipped. Great location
