To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The location was excellent, close to attractions and lots of good bars, restaurants and bistros. Very good for transport links from the airport and the metro to get to other parts of Paris. The staff were all friendly, the rooms very clean and a good size for the older beautiful buildings in this area (we booked a superior room).

Personal was always nice. Neighbourhood is one of the best ones for tourists. New shower was perfect.

United Kingdom2 small bottles of Evian water were charged at 5 euros each!!! Outrageous!!! Having paid 170 euros per night for 3 consecutive nights one would have thought that the hotel could have provided the 2 small bottles of Evian water free of charge! PURE GREED! And will certainly stop us from recommending what was otherwise a truly wonderful stay!
