Central location by the train station. It has a pleasant, modern bar and restaurant (we didn’t use the latter) and served a good breakfast. The only downside and let me stress that this is absolutely nothing against the hotel, is that we booked ‘economy’ rooms. They were clean and comfortable, but pretty basic; the bathrooms were, in fact, small wet rooms. I don’t think think they are illustrated on bookings’ web site. Maybe they should be. The parking right outside the hotel is a big plus.

We paid for breakfast which was mediocre at best. I guess we would have gone out if we’d known it’s caliber. There seemed to be a nightclub below our room with was noisy until pretty late. The hairdryer was unusable.

Check-in was long & tedious! It took 15 mins for the staff to find our bookings, then they mixed them up and were confused about payment details. Not good.. Bathroom, though clean & serviceable, was in dire need of maintenance (nobody likes a wobbly toilet!). Garage was some distance from the hotel itself and expensive (10 euros).

Had a 'Comfort Double' room at the front of the hotel which was fairly spacious, clean & comfortable and had huge windows overlooking the railway station square. Good value budget hotel with good breakfast. Didn't eat at the hotel but restaurant was very busy in the evening when we returned. Secure garage for our motorcycles. Surprisingly large and beautiful old main square a short walk away with good choice of bars/restaurants in town.

Had a front view room above the restaurant and sadly couldn't have the window open when the bar/restaurant was in use as the smokers were outside right below our window and their smoke was coming in to our room Water leaks on the floor from the sink which had a manky rag stuffed around the leak

Comfy beds Decent sized room Nice big fancy shower with jets!

Upon arrival, the room which we had booked and received confirmation for was no longer available. According to the hotel this was due to Booking.com accepting a double booking for the room. The hotel staff was very helpful in finding an alternative room, acceptable for a family with a small child and at the same rate.

Good value for money. Simple, modern, clean rooms. Although the hotel is next to the main train station, the area feels safe.

This hotel is no good for handicapped people,as I requested.the breakfasts were very poor,no were to heat croissants ,no bread for toast,no fruit cocktail for breakfast'if you are not there before 8-30am no eggs all gone only ham left. This is not a hotel to stay for a holiday, more for passing trade and one nighters . Had to change rooms 3times because of the traffic noise.

    Not a lot

Not a family friendly hotel, no cot available, The lift was so small that it was impossible to fit a pushchair and 1 suitcase. Our room was located at the far end of the hotel and between it and the lift there was more steps which made access difficult with a pushchair. The shower head was located low on the wall which prevented you having a shower standing up unless you held the shower head. The bathroom design was very space saving akin to to those found on a ferry and was basic) There was No air con, the room was scorching hot because we had the end room where there was full sun exposure. Staff couldn't speak a word of English and werent very friendly. There was no parking outside the hotel, which forced us to purchase a garage from the hotel. This was a 5 minute walk from the hotel and was tiny, making it difficult to park a wide car in (5 series BMW). Furthermore, the garage door got stuck. Considering the cost of the breakfast, it was very basic. This should not be your first choice if taking a family.

    The room was clean..

Wonderful location! Close to the town center and very close to the town train station. The family rooms are prefect! An interconnecting door, so kids go to bed and parents can watch TV. Also the kids beds are bunk beds making it easy to put them to bed, as most hotels put 2 children in a double bed.

One of the receptionists was pretty rude, she worked on Saturday evening 20/8. Rolled her eyes and had us wait even if she saw us etc. But well, maybe she had a bad day?

The location, cleanliness and the 2 other staff members were really nice, friendly and helpful! Value for money in this place!

The pillows are little soft and thin. Having a little firmer and thicker pillows would be greatly appreciated and would help quite a lot. This is however not critical and having 2 pillows can already help.

    - Really nice and helpful staff - Good breakfast with fresh croissants and pain au chocolats, cereals fruits etc.. - Quiet rooms - Good heating system - Bed is good - Clean rooms - Wifi is sufficiently fast to do the basic email/ browsing with a good experience

I had difficulties connecting to the WiFi. This might well have to do with my own lack of technical insight, but it could also be a problem with the WiFi itself.

The hotel has a very nice atmosphere and is located right next to the train station and very near the centre of Charleville. The bed was very comfortable and the view on the park was nice and relaxing.

Bit noisy had to keep windows closed, not a problem except it was a particularly hot evening. Shower good but the type that sprays out of the cabinet so floor got soaked, maybe just a question of getting used to it.

We chose the Comfort Room for an extra €10 and it was worth it, lovely comfy beds, linen good. Bathroom spotless. Good value breakfast for €7. Car park nearby. Staff friendly and helpful. Thought no electric points but moved desk just a fraction out and they were behind there.
