There is no obvious bell to attract the attention of the night porter if they happen to be away from the front desk and you arrive out of hours. But this is only a minor detail. Staff is present 24 hours.

The hotel restaurant is of great quality and the location is easily reached by public transport. Staff were friendly and always willing to accomodate. A home away from home.

You should have in mind that it is still a railway station area of a big city, which is a plus, however sometimes it is not very comfortable to walk after dark. It is a three-strorey hotel with no elevator (if it is an issue for somebody), but the staff helps you with the luggage.

Didn't expect a.such great service, b. L'occitane toiletries, c. nesspesso capsules & coffee machine in the room. Comfortable and spacious (especially for Paris) room with separate shower/toilet, very comfortable bed&pillow, super tasty restaurant within the hotel, good breakfast (especially for Paris) with fresh orange juice, convenient location to use RER to the airport/Eurostar/any sightseeing within 25-30 min by metro max. The room was cleaned every day. The staff was very helpful, borrowing not only the cork screw and glasses for our wine, but also an ice-basket.

I wished the breakfast was cheaper - buffet is all out and has good healthy options, but nothing all freshly cooked. But then - you still have a lot of options with what you’re given and it does taste good.

Location - great, close to Gare de l'Est but away from the busy tourist areas. Room - delightful decoration, very well equipped with a kitchenette. Breakfast - very good selection of food Restaurant and bar - delightful casual restaurant (seemed to be popular with locals) - great food and wine selection at reasonable prices. Staff - They were very helpful and friendly throughout my stay, including helping when I was unwell.

Lovely hotel with a nice bistro/bar downstairs. Very close to the Canal St Martin with many great bars and restaurants. Spacious room compared to many in Paris, comfortable bed and a good breakfast. Small details were taken care of by friendly staff - complimentary drinks on arrival because it was our wedding anniversary, L’Occitane toiletries, umbrellas to borrow and happy to swap out the coffee pod machine for a kettle because we wanted hot water for tea - they could not have been more helpful. Would definitely go back.

There was a noisy pipe in the bathroom that made noise constantly, not a deal breaker but something I think the staff should look into.

The place was clean, in a great location and had a lovely Parisian vibe.

Our stay was great, comfortable and the location is quite good as well. Fodil was very helpful and cheerful and helped us with everything. Went out of his way to even help us with our train tickets when we were facing an issue. Breakfast was basic but did the job. Small rooms but comfortable. The beds were made everyday but the floor was not cleaned everyday for some reason. The restaurant at the hotel was very good with excellent food and great cocktails! All in all it was a great stay!

if you Need good access to the immediate centre of Paris yet want a peaceful environment with restaurants and local shops at hand then this is a good location. only 3 or 4 metro stops to l'opera. the bedroom and washing facilities were high quality, its clear the owners invested in this.
